Howard Mably [Alpha]
« on: February 17, 2021, 07:38:43 pm »

Name: Howard Mably

Alias: Howie (by Sadie), Mably-san

Date of Birth: January 01st, 2001

Age: 23

Primary Gender: Male

Secondary Gender: Alpha

Character's Scent: Oranges & Caramel

Sexuality: Bisexual

Race: British American

Species: Human

Hobbies: Drinking, Knife Throwing, Video Games (shooter games), Poking fun at others, Cooking

Powers/Abilities:
Knife Throwing – Howard is proficient at knife throwing and usually has knives that range from long to short blades on his person. His speed is always accurate as he uses his knives in one of two ways: to disarm someone or injure them. He can also use them in close-range fights that allow him to accurately stab someone in a specific area without actually killing them. He does have to be close enough to someone in order to shank them with said weapons by taking advantage of their blind spots.

Hand to Hand Combat – Howard is aggressive and ruthless in hand-to-hand combat. While he doesn't seek out someone to fight, he doesn't mind testing his skills out on those who get on his bad side. His fighting style is pretty standard as he uses an average of punches and kicks while also using his knives to give him a further edge in a fight. He has a habit of going too far and continuing to pummel someone without much of a care in the world if he's enjoying his fight. Howard has no qualms about attacking someone when their back is turned or if they're distracted. A fight is a fight; once challenged, there's no going back. His fighting is sloppy as he can easily be overpowered by his sister, who can always predict his moves, or if he's drunk and caught off guard by someone whom he doesn't perceive as a threat to him.

Personality: Howard is an asshole to everyone he encounters, even if they're close friends of his or his sisters. He's crude, short-tempered, and aggressive, traits that both he and his sister inherited from their father, but unlike his older sister Sadie, who is more in control over her anger, Howard is not. Despite knowing and understanding Japanese, he hardly addresses someone by their actual names or uses honorifics. He addresses them based on how he views them when he watches them socially interact with others. Normally, this would be considered something like "nicknames" but in Howard's case, they're insults and jokes. It's how he amuses himself by poking fun at others and their weird habits. When it comes to his interactions with others, it's less than pleasing. Strangers who don't know him but encounter him are enamored by how he speaks, and they're usually older people, whereas others who are aware of him and personally know him aren't. It's clear he's not someone who becomes emotionally attached to someone the same way others do, so many of his sexual encounters with people are one-night stands and nothing more. He's not ashamed to state what type of person he's interested in, even if it comes out rather insulting to others. He has no specific preference when it comes to males and females, but he refuses to screw anyone that's "pretending" to be the opposite gender than they were born. He explains this as he sees no point in screwing what he calls "why boners" when he can easily go find someone who is a man or a woman and call it a day.

That said, he's not into trans or femboy individuals, but he doesn't care if it's how they wish to identify or dress. He would prefer not to sleep with them. Howard doesn't give much thought to such individuals unless they approach him for sex, which he always declines. He often gets punched for this ALL the time. Because he thinks this way, he tends to avoid people who fall under that category since he grows tired of explaining his preferences to idiots who forget that people have them. He's not obligated to sleep with anyone he's not interested in. Whether a long or short-term relationship. There's only so much he can tolerate when dealing with people, and stupidity and annoyance are one of them. He thinks such people are beneath him because they can't handle a real conversation that makes them think without getting offended. It is why Howard prefers to hang around people who can have a real conversation, whether serious or not, that doesn't make him want to punch them in the forehead or throat. These are usually people who don't care he's a foreigner. He and his sister share different views on this when it comes to people, and while she encourages him to be a little nicer, knowing that some aren't particularly bright, Howard doesn't agree and usually ignores her. Although he comes from a well-off family, he doesn't care about his status as an Alpha. He finds it a waste of time to care about such things and that people should do what they want to do regarding their life choices instead of following in the footsteps of others from the past.

He may not be particularly close with his family because of how he talks to people. Still, at the same time, he knows his parents have never treated him and his sister differently because of their wealth and secondary genders. Howard does appreciate that but still can't help but think they expect a lot from him in their own way but just aren't saying it to his face.  He finds this irritating, and he's unsure of why. As for his relationship with Sadie, Howard feels as if he doesn't have one because he sees her treat so many strangers who aren't her family like family, and it bothers him. He's jealous of her closeness with these people. In particular, he dislikes one of his sister's friends, Shouta Akimoto, because of how much she fawns over him and often says things like Shouta being the little brother she wished she had. These things are what angers him. Instead of talking out his problems, he copes through drinking, occasionally fighting, annoying Shouta on purpose whenever he comes in contact with him, or playing video games to keep his mind off of it. Despite his terrible habits and personality, he is intelligent but uses it for the worst reasons and actions. He even has domestic skills that fall under the category of cooking and cleaning. He's quite good at cooking, and this is the only area where his anger is more directed at people distracting him or rushing him to make something than it is at the people themselves. And Howard doesn't particularly like cleaning, but he rather finds it a pain in the ass when someone else cleans, and they don't do it right the first time. He prefers to do things himself because he knows he doesn't have to go back and clean up behind someone else.

Occupation: Works Part-Time at Gentle Fantasy Host Bar. His parents also send him money as well.

School: ----

Place of Living: Howard lives in a one-bedroom condo in the district of Shibuya.

Original or Canon: Original

Face Claim: My Hero Academia – Katsuki Bakugo (eye recolor)

Appearance: Howard stands at the height of 5'11” with short and spiky ash-blonde hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. He displays a slim and muscular build and a fair skin tone. He's normally seen wearing standard casual clothing such as t-shirts with and without logos on them, wearing his pants loosely, causing them to sag at his ankles despite wearing a belt. The expressions he displays are often aggressive, which gives off an off-putting demeanor to some, while to the few, they are enamored by it. On the other hand, Howard either remains indifferent or annoyed by advances and interactions, depending on the individual.

History: Howard Mably is the youngest child of the Mably family and is an heir to the Mably Pharmaceutical companies worldwide, just like his younger sister Sadie (Beta, Female). His parents, Louis Mably (Alpha, Male) and Holly Mably (Beta, Female), had their fair share of problems before working things out and becoming official mates; they agreed to treat their children equally so they don't get caught up in the ideals of societal expectations regarding certain secondary genders. Contrary to popular belief, Howard's relationship with his sister wasn't originally filled with annoyance. As a young child, he adored being around her because she would dote on him and protect him when he couldn't protect himself. However, others constantly judged him, believing that an Alpha like himself shouldn't depend on a Beta to defend him. He was mocked and considered a weakling Alpha, which Howard didn't take kindly to. His parents and his sister tried reassuring him that he had nothing to worry about. However, Sadie tended to solve her problems by resorting to violence when the situation called for it.

He'd never admit it, but his sister's anger whenever she becomes what people call "Black Sadie". She has the strength and resolve to put fear into other Alphas without caring what others think of her or if she gets into trouble for it. Howard envied that strength and confidence. So he eventually stopped being the "good little boy" and began hanging around a bad crowd of people and getting into trouble. He became rather aggressive and reckless as a result. To many, it would appear he was treating others as if they were beneath him and not worth his time. That is partly true, but Howard has no time to deal with people he can't hold a real conversation with who get offended so easily. He also can't stand those who are legit idiots and can't recognize that they are based on how they present themselves when interacting with him or other people. In his eyes, talking to such people makes him feel stupid, and he's lost brain cells due to engaging. As such, he never was close with many of his peers except for those that many would consider delinquents. It was because he hung out with such people that caused his family grief whenever he got into trouble. One of those instances left him badly injured, which is what prompted him to learn how to fight better to win anytime someone dared to act like they were above him and believed they could take him on. Going as far as to learn basic hand-to-hand combat and knife throwing and incorporating it when fighting.

He found it rather fun fighting all the time, whether he badly injured someone or not. Nor did he use his sister's reasoning for getting into them. Sometimes, he got into it simply because it was fun to piss people off. It wasn't hard to notice that his family grew tired of his behavior, especially his father, who feared that it would just get worse if he didn't quell his son's anger. Howard took this as a sign of pity and ignored his father whenever he attempted to talk to him. This also shows he didn't know his father's past with his aunt either. Only his sister knew about it. All of them found it to be better this way since they didn't want to give Howard any reason to believe that Louis's actions were alright to do to others. But this didn't stop him from getting chastised, which led him to think that they favored his sister over him, considering that he felt she did the same thing, albeit a little differently. The only thing that did annoy him was her advocating for others to be treated as equals, even if they were idiots. Howard didn't understand why he had to be nice to stupid people who were genuinely stupid and a waste of society. As usual, he was chastised and told that it was not for him to decide something like that. Regarding secondary genders, Howard could've cared less about what someone presented as long as they weren't idiots. Deep down, he knew his behavior and actions weren't right. Even remembering what he was told about his father and aunt, he agreed that everything about that situation wasn't right.

He wouldn't do that to someone. However, he doesn't consider it the same thing as telling someone stupid that they're fucking stupid. That said, his personality doesn't gel well with others who aren't older Japanese natives who appreciate his honesty and don't care that he is a foreigner. And because those old people are honest, they have no issue telling Howard he is also an idiot. That irked him very much, making him stop getting into fights regularly, but only when necessary. He still finds finding someone fun, but only if someone else starts shit when they shouldn't be. When he needs to satisfy himself during his Ruts, he doesn't care if someone is an Alpha, Beta, or Omega, much less if they're male or female. He just has no time for someone pretending they're mentally in between and forcing him into some weird game of mental gymnastics. He's quick to tell anyone he just wants to fuck, not figure out who the fuck they are. They need to already know, or get the fuck out is how he feels. He has a short fuse and can only tolerate a person to an extent before they begin to bother the hell out of him. He does like to make it clear to people and doesn't care who knows or hears that he isn't into "why-boners". Why-boners are what he calls transsexuals or femboys.

He could care less about them as a person, but he has no interest in them intimately, which has earned him quite a lot of punches from people, to which he shrugs off and says he's not changing his preferences for idiots. He also thinks those that give up their secondary gender to just be a regular person without societal ties are pussies. Why give up something when you can milk it for all its worth before time runs out? That's what he's always thought. Even when his family eventually moved to Japan to unveil the new opening of another branch of the family business, this way of thinking didn't change for him. Never once did he have any career goals of his own, and his sister made herself at home in Japan, running a bookstore in one of the largest malls. And since he never decided on what he wanted to do with his life, his parents just send him money, which he used to get himself a place to stay but also spends on things he doesn't need, like video games and a ton of booze which he uses to not thinking about his problems. But even Howard gets bored, so he started looking into finding a part-time job he can do at night, and a host bar was hiring. It wasn't his thing, and he found the women to be obnoxious and needy. That said, this makes him the lowest-ranking host at the bar. Although it gives him free time to himself, he is ordered to do other tasks whenever he hasn't been requested for long periods of his shift.

Clearly, Howard has no real career goals in mind for himself and does what he wants to make a quick buck on his own. His relationship with his family is still a mixed bag. They care about him, but even he can see that waning the more he keeps getting himself into trouble, and they have to bail him out. As for Sadie, Howard greatly dislikes how she treats strangers she isn't related to, like close family. He's mainly seen her do it with a bunch of her close friends, but one, in particular, she dotes on is a young man named Shouta Akimoto, and any chance he gets, he will poke fun at him for being a nerd. Shouta has never done anything to Howard specifically, but it is through Sadie's actions of being so friendly with him that she makes him feel as if she wishes he were her brother. This is the vibe he gets, and just seeing him pisses him off, and he starts poking fun at him, giving him noogies, or punching him in the arm. Although, as of late, Howard had come to terms with the fact that the real reason he was doing this was because he was actually attracted to Shouta, but since the other makes it clear he isn't interested, he just continues humorously poke fun at him to make him uncomfortable on purpose for his own personal amusement. In the meantime, he doesn't focus on it much as there are plenty of people out there that he can find who will satisfy his needs. If someone is willing and wanting, he has no qualms about seeing where it goes.
