Zach was actually rather confused about the festivities going on outside, but decided that he might as well join in the fun rather than stay inside on a holiday. Was it a holiday? He had no clue really, on his way out of the lobby he asked an attendant what all the hubbub was about outside and they explained it was some festival about bonding. His first thought was to return back to his room and collect his holdout piece, but thought better of it. The boss did say that the country was famous for being a really peaceful country ever since it modernized, and technically the guns in his room were illegal to own, but the hotel knew better than to go through his things. Still he kept his Sgian Dubh in his boot just incase shenanigan's occurred. Peaceful or not, he knew stories of the Yakuza, and had seen more than a few bad action movies. He dressed relatively nicely, a form fitting black T-shirt tucked into his favorite black dress pants, and the least scuffed combat boots he owned. On his way out he thanked whatever fae weirdness made him an unknown, last thing he'd want to deal with is someone getting too aggressive for a lay.
Out on the streets he noted that other than the fact he was foreign; he fit in pretty well so far. He took his time to take in some sights, eat some local cuisine, enjoy some street performers show off their tricks. All in all he was having a relatively fun, but confusing time. He really didn't know what to look for or where to go so he was mostly just wandering around town with some wonder. Once it started getting late he was considering heading back to his room when he heard a child asking their parents about when the "Būmu's" would start. After a moment of thinking about that he figured they probably meant fireworks and thought about it. It's been a while since he's seen a good fireworks display that wasn't made of demo charges or aimed at him. That and he could do to get out of the massive crowds for a little bit.
After a quick reference to a map on his phone he found a nice park a short distance away that he figured would be a good place to sit back and relax on a hill or something relatively high. It took a bit longer than he quite expected to get to the park due to all of the foot traffic but eventually he made it, but sadly most of the higher spots were taken and he settled for sitting on a railing and watching the sky for the coming Būmu as he learned. Without really thinking about it he mused aloud to himself with a bit of a half smirk, "Hard to imagine sometimes that rockets aren't always meant for damage." He then looked down the hill and a part of him worried about his head rolling down and he stood back a bit.
