“I am more than how people see me and I don’t mind showing that to anyone.” Name: Mitsu Kenzo
Alias: Micchan (by friends & family)
Date of Birth: December 6th, 1999
Age: 24
Primary Gender: Male
Secondary Gender: Omega
Character's Scent: Honey & Coconut
Sexuality: Bisexual
Race: Japanese
Species: Human
Hobbies: Reading Manga, Playing Video Games, Cooking, Flowers, Hanging Out w/friends, Protecting Others
Powers/Abilities: Fighting Prowess - Compared to when he was younger, Mitsu used to be much shorter, which he used to his advantage in many fights he ended up in with guys who were way taller than himself at the time. Through Mitsu's will and strength, he can take down someone twice his size, no matter who they are. He could be a more skilled fighter, and Mitsu knows that. However, as many would assume, he doesn't enjoy fighting. He knows how to use his fists and kick when opportunities present themselves. Sometimes, he'll allow himself to take hits to find an opening that he can exploit. Mitsu only fights when others are being harassed, and there is no other reason outside of that.
Personality: Mitsu is a kind person that means no harm to anyone. Unless someone is harassing another person and not taking a hint that they don't want to be bothered, that is the only time he'll get involved. He doesn't like seeing others bothered for any reason and can't help himself but get involved to stop it. While he'd prefer to talk it out, it usually never goes that route and turns into a physical fight, which he dislikes. Mitsu is fully aware that people still look down on Omegas and Betas for inane reasons. He can't do anything about that and, most of the time, ignores it as long as they aren't bothering others with their way of thinking. His family frequently tells him to ignore it, but Mitsu cannot do that. If he wouldn't allow himself to be looked down on just because someone is using their status and secondary gender to do so, he can assist others when they're in the same predicament.
Outside of this, Mitsu is fine. He's easy to interact with as he's friendly with everyone he encounters. He enjoys cooking and knows how to prepare different types of meals. He particularly loves making sweets as he loves them and doesn't mind making them for others if they ask him to. He doesn't eat sweets regularly but prepares balanced meals involving rice, noodles, pasta, vegetables, etc. He uses many of these and other ingredients to make soups, onigiri, fried rice, sandwiches, and curry, both hot and mild. It's a big help for him as he lives on his own and wishes to refrain from being on what most would consider a "ramen diet" that only broke university students have. Mitsu even likes sports-related activities. They keep him active, and he finds them fun because it allows him to be more social with those around him, and they can all bond over it. He can bond with his friends over many things, except when it comes to the topic of flowers. His father owns a flower shop where he also works and is manager of. Many of his male friends can't relate because it's not something they're interested in, but many of his female friends often come to him when they have questions about flowers and where they can find a specific kind. If his shop sells them, can he set any aside until they can come to pick them up themselves? Mitsu doesn't mind at all, and it gives him something extra to talk about.
Mitsu has no issues making friends with others. Originally, when he was younger, he was deemed unapproachable because of rumors of him being a delinquent. However, he's moved on from that since becoming an adult and is glad others see him for who he is now. He may get some who will see him as a delinquent or worthless Omega, but he doesn't let that ruin his day. He will set them straight with no regrets. As for his family, they are relatively normal, and he gets along with them. Still, he does find it frustrating hearing them tell him to simply take being told he's worthless by strangers for being an Omega to avoid causing problems and stop getting involved in situations that turn into a fight. They worry and don't like seeing him get hurt, but Mitsu always tells him that he'll always stand up for himself and others. He genuinely tries to talk things out with people who are being rude on purpose, but it's on them if they keep it going and don't leave well enough alone. Another fact about Mitsu is that he's a terrible drinker. Getting drunk after only a few drinks causes him to either pass out or become an emotional drunk, where he starts admitting to everything he's feeling at that current time. It isn't often that he drinks, thankfully, but during the instances that he has, this is usually the behavior he displays when under the influence.
Occupation: Little Shop of Flowers – Manager
School: Kaibara University | Third Year | AA Degree in General Studies | Flower Arrangement Club Member
Place of Living: Red Fountain Apartments > Apt C2
Original or Canon: Original
Face Claim: Sekaiichi Hatsukoi – Ritsu Onodera
Appearance: Mitsu stands at the height of 5'8" with light brown hair and long bangs that frame the sides of his face. He has wide green eyes and fair skin. His hair is said to be silky in texture to the point where one of his close female co-workers complains about how much she envies it. He's even been described as very attractive and having a vogue body type with high hips and a small face with perfect features. At least by Alphas, who takes an interest in him, and Mitsu finds it odd and unflattering to be described in such a way. While the average Omegas are usually shorter, it isn't uncommon for some to be taller. Mitsu falls into this category, and some have mistaken him for an Alpha or Beta until told otherwise by him.
Mitsu I,
Mitsu II, &
Mitsu IIIHistory: Mitsu Kenzo was born in Tokyo, Japan, to parents Aimari Daitokuji (Female, Beta) and Yuusuke Kenzo (Male, Beta). Aimari and Yuusuke had troubling families they came from. Aimari came from an average family that focused on obtaining status to fit societal norms without being looked down upon. This was also drilled into her younger sister Akumu (Female, Omega). Aimari never subscribed to this way of living and thinking and just wanted to study to become a chef. Because of the choices she made for herself, her family paid little attention to her, choosing not to assist her and focused their attention on Akumu. Aimari struggled while attending a low-ranked university and working as a pastry chef at a prestigious restaurant serving only influential guests. Despite her struggles, she never once gave in to her parents, tempting her to come back as long as she did what they told her by giving up what she wanted to do and marrying into a wealthy family willing to accept her, knowing that she presents as a Beta. Aimari's family wasn't rich, but her parents had jobs that gave them connections when they needed them. They always said that their Aimari could do better than being a chef. They never hesitated to chastise her about her career path, which is why Aimari wanted to work hard and prove them wrong. How her parents treated her is also why she and her sister weren't close. Akumu felt that her sister's choices were always causing their family problems, and like their parents, she would put Aimari down as well. She felt her sister's dream to become a chef and own her own restaurant was stupid while making remarks about her secondary gender as well. As hurtful as it was, Aimari ignored them and continued working hard.
She knew that things wouldn't fall into her lap on a whim. For a while, she felt alone, but it was during her final year of university that she met Yuusuke. She found him to be an interesting man as he was someone who loved plants and aspired to become a florist. His situation was similar to her own, as his family felt that his choices made him weak and useless. His family was actually rich, as his Alpha mother was an investment banker, and his Omega father was an accountant. Yuusuke had an older brother who presented as an Alpha, and their parents dote on him but had high expectations for both of them. Yuusuke chose not to go down that route and wanted to do something he enjoyed. His parents didn't agree but didn't complain as much since he still decided to attend university to get a degree. Aimari and Yuusuke both seemed to connect with one another through their similar upbringings and the more they hung out, the more they saw they had a lot more in common than they believed. They just instantly clicked with each other. They got married and became officially paired right after graduating from the university, both achieving what they wanted to become. Aimari's skills as a chef slowly gained her recognition, and her next step was to continue to improve and save up money to one day open her own restaurant. Yuusuke, on the other hand, opened a flower shop in the city that is popular with women and students in particular. As for their families, they didn't care to congratulate them on their marriage to one another. They both felt they could've done better but accepted it as it was too late.
They didn't have a choice as Aimari was pregnant with their grandchild, a boy that she and Yuusuke named Mitsu. They decided not to raise their son the same way they were brought up and just wanted him to grow up normally and decide for himself what he wanted to do. Mitsu grew up happy and normal. By the time he was five, he had grown drastically. He was energetic and loved learning to do things with his parents. Once he was enrolled in school, things sort of changed for him. Other children often teased him and called him names, which made Mitsu soon realize that he did not like that. They were also doing the same thing to others who they figured wouldn't say anything and get away with it, and it caused him to develop a slightly abrasive personality. After being teased so much and seeing others going through the same thing, Mitsu started taking matters into his own hands and resorted to fighting. He fought so much to the point he got expelled from school. His parents were worried about him, wondering why he was getting into so many fights with others. He told them each time that he didn't like it when others picked on him, and he didn't like seeing others going through the same thing. In his eyes, it wasn't right. While they understood their son's reasoning, they still didn't like his behavior and told him there were other ways to solve problems without having to fight someone. Mitsu continued to frequently change schools because of the constant fighting, always ending up going home bruised and sometimes bloody in certain places.
Mitsu's actions caused many to view him as a delinquent who went around causing trouble everywhere he went, and this was not true at all. His grandparents also viewed him the same way while hearing his parents being chastised by their parents on how he was raised wrong. Seeing this made Mitsu not like his grandparents, and he wanted nothing to do with them. They reminded him too much of those at school who talk and act the same way. He disliked them more when they forcibly enrolled him into a private junior high academy that was a reform school for those like him. While Mitsu's parents didn't want that for him since they reached out for help on what they could do, they had no choice, in a sense, to oblige. Mitsu hated it, but given the type of school it was, he figured he wouldn't have to worry about anyone causing him problems. Much to his surprise, the reform school had a lot of students who really weren't like him at all. Sure, there were some that were and were actually troublemakers, but most of the students at the academy were normal. It was also at this reform academy that his life changed. Mitsu came of age to present and discovered that, unlike his parents, he was an Omega. He didn't hate this discovery but was more surprised since both of his parents were Betas. He just assumed that's what he would be. His grandparents were also surprised and expected more of him because of it until Mitsu's parents intervened.
They did not want them to have their son believe that he was less or more than another person because of his secondary gender. Seeing his parents put their foot down with his grandparents made Mitsu realize that although he didn't see eye to eye with his parents, they really cared about him and were just worried about him getting hurt all the time. They still felt that he should try and find other ways to solve situations without fighting, so Mitsu tried to compromise by listening to his parents and trying things their way. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn't. But at least during his time at the reform academy, he wasn't getting into frequent fights compared to before. Mitsu also managed to get into high school, attending Hakoniwa Academy and being a rather tall Omega student compared to others. This caused him to be mistaken for an Alpha or a Beta if one was only looking at him based on his appearance alone. Despite his abrasive nature, Mitsu is actually a gentle person. He just doesn't like it when people cause trouble for him and others. He now only fights unless he has to, but he never threw the first punch. It was in high school that Mitsu was able to focus more on developing interests. He was able to make friends and enjoy doing things students his age do. Mitsu discovered he liked reading manga and playing video games. He made sure to keep up with his studies, so he didn't allow his hobbies to completely take away his focus. His parents were happier that they didn't have to worry so much about him. They still didn't like it whenever he got into a fight but felt better that it wasn't as often as before.
No, Mitsu started playing sports and got back into learning more about his parent's line of work, like when he was young. He started helping his father out more around the flower shop whenever his mother was too busy, as sometimes she had to travel for work, for she achieved her dream of becoming a well-renowned chef with her own restaurant and was often asked to prepare meals for events out of the country. It is through his mother that Mitsu learned how to cook, too. While his mother was away, he worked with his father and learned more about different plants and flowers and how to take care of them. This knowledge, followed by his cooking abilities, is what made him popular with female students. Many of them became close friends with him. Mitsu has male friends as well but is only able to connect with them through sports, video games, and sometimes movies if they were bored and had nothing else to do. Eventually, Mitsu graduated from Hakoniwa Academy and took the entrance exam to local universities; he managed to pass the exam to Kaibara University. His parents couldn't have been prouder of him. Even while attending university, he continued to help his father out around the flower shop. He'd eventually been appointed as the manager and hired one of his close female friends to work there, as she was looking for a job to gain work experience. Mitsu still can't break old habits of standing up for himself and others, but he's learned that he doesn't always have to fight anyone for them to get the message. He's in his third year at Kaibara University, studying to get a degree in General Studies. He's already made his decision to continue working at the flower shop even after he graduates from university. His grandparents come around every so often to discuss finding a mate for him if he can't find one himself, and their doing this makes him dislike them more than he already did. Finding a mate is the last thing on his mind, and for Mitsu, it'll happen when it happens. He wasn't trying to rush it like they were.
