(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | Feodora was cooking away in the kitchen of her room she had at the inn. Living on the property had its perks but also its downfalls as well. Some residents couldn't seem to handle their own issues or ask the employees on shift for assistance. No, some would come directly to her room for problems that could've been easily taken care of by someone else. That that she couldn't help but she was human too. She wanted to enjoy her days off. This is why she started putting the "Do Not Disturb" sign on her door. Unless it was someone she'd authorized to meet her at her room, no one outside of those people should be knocking on her door for anything. Especially today since she was expecting to catch up with her brother Yuuto. Normally, she'd go to the mansion and try and cook a big meal for the family to sit down together and catch up with one another but the woman was noticing more and more how much of a struggle that was becoming. At least Neji was willing without feeling forced but everyone else clearly acted as if they didn't want to be there. It showed every time they saw one another. It saddened her because she tried so much for them to be close but it just never worked out. Their stepmother or "mother" as she calls herself would be so domineering and demanding, it only reminded Feodora of her father. She used to wonder what he saw in her to consider her a replacement mate but she stopped questioning it years ago. Instead, she just focused on herself and her brothers. ... When her brothers' would let her. She and Neji came to an understanding at least and while he promised to try and form something of a brotherly bond with Yuuto, she'd yet to see him do it. Tatsuya was a terrible human being and she was always chastising him for how he viewed and treated Omegas. More so whenever he'd bring them home. It was disgusting when he'd basically have his escapades in the house. It was one of many reasons why Feodora left. That and just she needed her own space. But she wasn't the only one that left the house. Yuuto had as well and it made it easier for the two of them to spend time with one another and catch up when they needed to without the interference of their parents telling them what they should and shouldn't do. They were adults, not children. When were they going to allow them to actually be adults? Hell Feodora herself was in her 30s. She refused to be treated as some child, parent or not. That's insulting and demeaning. But she let it go. Considering that she was a Beta, she wouldn't be recognized for doing much of anything unless it brought shame to the family. She wasn't doing anything to maintain the family name. The work she did, getting to where she is, she did it for herself and on her own. And she was proud of herself for that. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't wanted her father to at least be proud of her for achieving something. As for her stepmother, she didn't care what that woman thought. She wasn't Feodora's mother and constantly just made her feel as if she was too old for some weird reason. She pushed that thought away, trying to avoid annoying herself as she took a moment to do a taste test on the food she was making. She'd prepared a Chorizo & mozzarella gnocchi bake. Something to have as leftovers for her work meals but also she wanted to share it with Yuuto as well since he was coming by to visit with her today. It was rare that he called her up to meet her at the inn. She would've been fine meeting him elsewhere if he wanted but he felt her room at the inn would be more private for them to talk. 'I wonder, what does he want to talk about? Did something happen recently?' Feodora wondered, as she placed the fork she'd used to taste the food to make sure it tasted perfect, down on a napkin on the counter. As she'd done this, she'd heard a knock at her door. She was only expecting her brother and hoped it was actually him at the door and not someone else. "Coming!" she quickly sprinted out of the kitchen to the door. Having reached the door, she opened it while flashing a big smile in greeting. "Hey, you made it!" she chimed happily. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | "With it being my day off, I couldn't pass up cooking a proper meal for the both of us to enjoy! You're always so busy and not making time and it makes me feel sad that I don't get to see you very often," Feodora jokingly pouted. She was teasing of course. She fully understood how Yuuto was and respected his space. She was never one to force him to do something he didn't want to do. However, she'd be lying if she didn't feel that he should open up a little more. It seemed like he was when he was in junior high and then shut completely down soon after. Naturally, their parents had something to do with it but the young woman knew there just had to be more to why her brother shut down the way he did. She smiled humbly at him, feeling thankful that he at the very least remained closed to her despite the dysfunctionality of their family. Placing her hand on her hips, she opened her door wider to allow her brother to enter. "Anyway, jokes aside, come on in. I was just letting the food cook a few minutes longer before turning it off," she informed him, closing the door behind him. "I have to ask, what made you want to see me? Is there something on your mind, Yuuto? You know you can talk to me about anything." She gave her brother a hug from behind, unable to remember the last time she was able to do it since it'd been quite a while since she last saw him. Between him working and school, he was just as equally busy as she was. Though she always tried her best to make time for her family, even if the other members of it tended to be unbearable to deal with. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | Just from hugging her brother, Feodora could sense and feel him tense up. She doesn't mention it, at least for the time being but makes a mental note of it. He may have told her he wanted to catch up but she couldn't help but wonder was that all he wanted to do. There had to be something else on Yuuto's mind. Like always, the woman knew he was going to beat around the bush until she had to practically pry it out of it him to tell her everything. But at least she wasn't forceful in doing so like their parents. If she could even call that woman her "mother". Feodora wanted to roll her eyes at that thought but didn't want to make it obvious that her thoughts briefly strayed. Right now, her focus was on Yuuto and she wanted to give him her full attention and not have him worried about her. Feodora never had much going on in her own life outside of work so there wasn't a need to worry about her. If anything, she was constantly worrying about her brothers. They knew this. At least Naji and Yuuto were aware of her concern for them more than Tatsuya did. Refocusing her thoughts and attention where they should be, she released her brother, carefully placing her arms behind her back as she kept her warm smile as she tilted her head to the side, not taking her eyes off her brother as she listened and allowed for him to talk. He seemed to be doing well with his work which was good. He's doing what he always wanted to do and she made sure to encourage him to follow his dreams and his heart. The reason she did this was she knew their mother and his father would want that for him. Especially his father. It was obvious that some part of Yuuto resented his father for not fighting for him to not be taken away but if he had a choice to keep him without Feodora's father using dirty tactics involving the courts and other malicious means, he would have fought to keep him. She may have never gotten to have met him if that'd been the case but at least he would've had a caring parent that took care of him. And she saw that Yuuto had that same ambition as his father and she didn't want to see him lose that and was glad he hadn't. He stuck to his guns about working in the field he wanted to work in and she couldn't be more proud of him. Feodora did show an expression of surprise when he'd mentioned having taken on a side project, something she hadn't expected of him and knew he wouldn't do without a real reason. "Oh I see. Well, at least you're getting more offers of work outside of the numerous manga authors you work with and making sure they're meeting their deadlines. I would've assumed you to be too busy to add more onto your plate," she replied as she walked toward the table, pulling out a chair and sitting down in it. She then lightly patted her hand atop the table, inviting her brother to join her. Her look changed to one of concern when Yuuto had mentioned the Omega he was apparently working with related to the new project had passed out on him in public. She couldn't help but put her hands over her mouth, showing concern. "Oh no, are they okay?" Feodora asked worriedly. "You should've taken them to the hospital instead of your place. If they passed out, something was clearly wrong with them. You took a big risk doing that, you know," she chastised him. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | "I see. So this person that you took to your house was someone you personally knew and that's why you wanted to work on the project?" Feodora asked with a tilt of her head as she kept her attention on her brother. She continued to listen to him, getting somewhat of an understanding of it but she still felt he should've taken them to the hospital. Whether he knew them or not and even if they didn't want to. They were sick. It'd make sense to be taken to a hospital so they could be treated. But as her brother explained how the entire situation transpired that possibly caused everything, she noticed the disdain in his voice at the female Alpha that'd approached his friend. She didn't know or wasn't aware of too many friends that Yuuto had. Outside of the one he had when he was younger, her brother kept to himself most of the time. As much as the young woman wanted to ask him so many questions, she also knew not to push. Instead just waited for Yuuto to come to her and talk. And when he would, she didn't hold back when it came to the opinions and advice she gave him. He was fully aware of this as Feodora would make it vocally known when she didn't approve of something her family was doing. Of course, their father didn't approve of any of them having a formed opinion that didn't align with his own. But Feodora refused to be silent. Especially when it came to their stepmother he mated and married. That's a whole other headache and Feodora herself definitely knew that her brother didn't want to talk about their family affairs. Unless they were told they had a family meeting they needed to be present for, all of them pretty much minded their own business and did their own thing. Right now, Yuuto needed her. She could tell just by looking at the distressed expression on his face, listening to the disdain in his voice at mentioning a female Alpha approached his friend and how he didn't like it but what struck a chord with her is when he'd stated who the friend's name finally was and immediately Feodora knew who he was talking about. "Shouta? Do you mean that friend of yours you never wanted to bring home but you were always bringing home a lot of different comic books and reading them? Those were his books you borrowed to read right?" Feodora asked him again, feeling bad that she had to because of what she was about to say next. "I asked because I remembered when tou-san would take them from you whenever ... she would go through your room trying to find anything to use to start an argument." Feodora narrowed her eyes as she refused to address her father's mate as her mother in any form. Preferring instead to either address the woman by her name or simply "she". She realized it was informally rude but she didn't care. She'd stopped caring years ago what that woman thought. If anything, she hated how that woman invaded their lives and began controlling everything and trying to control them, Yuuto included. Feodora personally felt the woman had it out for him because he wasn't related to her father by blood. He wasn't his son but was ordered to call him as such while preventing him from contacting his real father. There were times she wished their family lives hadn't been so difficult but she could at least be happy they're doing what they enjoy even if it was a struggle to get there. She twiddled her thumbs, remembering the food was still cooking briefly but she was going to give it another minute before checking on it. "Is your friend okay now?" she inquired worriedly. "It's been years since you've seen him. I would say he would be ecstatic to see you but then I remembered why you couldn't anymore." She sighed, shaking her head. "I may not have ever met your friend but I could tell how happy you were to have a friend back then. Taking that away from you ... I saw how broken you were because of it. I even told that to tou-san but he didn't want to hear it. He made that pretty clear when he didn't seem to like that he took you away from your father and prevented you from ever contacting him and telling him he could never reach out otherwise he'd threaten to make his life difficult. Tou-san is a powerful man. I have no doubt that he would've done it back then. Whether it still applies today, I have no clue. I feel like I failed you, Yuuto." Feodora frowned, her eyes shifting to glance down at her hands. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | All Feodora could do was smile as Yuuto made her feel better by telling her she didn't fail him. It was nice to hear, even if she still felt otherwise about it. Yet, she appreciated her brother's comforting words. Reaching her hand over, she placed it atop his, giving them a light pant, her smile not diminishing. "Arigatou, for saying that, Yuuto," she nodded. Even though deep down, she knew he probably felt otherwise about a lot of things regarding their family, it made her happy knowing that he could come to her when he needed to talk as well as appreciating all that she did for him. However, right now, he sounded like he wanted to focus on something else. That something else being the friendship he lost out on. "Well, I am glad you came to talk to me. I miss catching up with you, Yuuto. There are some things I'd like to talk to you about eventually but your mind seems to be elsewhere. On your friend perhaps? The one you had back when you were in junior high?" she asked him, as she slowly rose up from her seat and left the table to head toward the kitchen to check on the food. By now it should've been fully done and with her being in the kitchen, she would also be able to hear and see her brother as well. So it wasn't as if she'd gone too far. However, she thought back to his friend Shouta. She didn't know why but that name sounds familiar to her for another reason too but at the moment she couldn't quite place her finger on why that was. "How did he take seeing you again after all these years?" asked Feodora as she turned the stove off, then moved the pot to the burner adjacent to it so it could cool off. She wanted to believe their meeting after such a long time was excited but she had a feeling that it wasn't. 'Could he be upset by Yuuto's choices still from that long ago? Ah, I would be surprised if he was. That had to have hurt. I know it hurt Yuuto very much to let go of the only friend he had. I still should've done more,' she thought, taking two plates down from the cabinet, set them down on the counter, and began scooping a decent amount of what she'd made on the plates for the two of them. Once she'd finished, she took both plates and brought them back toward the table, setting hers down in front of her seat and then handing Yuuto his plate. "I hope you like it. Considering you've always been a picky eater," she joked lightly with a small laugh. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | Feodora smiled as her brother complimented her cooking. It warmed her heart to know that he still enjoyed the meals she prepared and it made cooking for him much more rewarding. "I'm glad you're enjoying the food. I'm normally helping out in the inn kitchen from time to time making sure meal requests from guests and residents are prepared on time and properly. And cooking for you guys at home also helped my skills a little better too," she said with a chuckle as she took a bite of her own food and began to listen to Yuuto speak about his friend. She waited, giving Yuuto a moment to tell her fully what was on his mind and how he was feeling before giving him any advice. However, she was definitely curious as to how his old friend reacted to seeing him again after quite some time. Knowing the average person, that kind of betrayal hurts when it's already hard for people to form close bonds with one another. Of course, she did become momentarily distracted upon being told that their brother Tatsuya tried to sexually harass his friend which made the young woman narrow her eyes in annoyance rather than surprise. She was hardly surprised by Tatsuya's actions and she made it a point to frequently tell him how she disapproved of his behavior. Even if he could've remotely cared what she thought which irked her even more. "God, he's an idiot," Feodora grumbled while releasing a sigh. "I'm glad your friend is okay and that Tatsu didn't get as far as he wanted. He's lucky to have had his business partner there to look out for him. Gomen that I showed up sometime after it happened. Nobody said anything when I did return home. Things got so busy here at the inn that day that I lost track of time. Now that really makes me feel bad considering Tatsu wouldn't have tried that knowing I was there." Oddly enough, while Tatsuya would openly tell her numerous times he didn't care what Feodora thought of him, he could tell some part of him did as he kept his behavior in check whenever she came to the family home. Even if she wasn't at fault for anything that transpired, Feodora would always blame herself for not being there when bad things tend to happen regarding their family. "Again, I am glad your friend is okay. Though I am surprised the business partner still wanted to do business with our family after that. I'm curious as to what made them change their mind and not report what Tatsu did." That was another question that popped into the woman's mind. Well, at least she knew that Tatsuya wouldn't dare to try and harm Yuuto's friend again, not with a business partner like that, that's overprotective. It was good he had someone there but despite the incident, they still decided to do business and it made Feodora wonder could it have been because Yuuto had shown up to intervene further. She wanted to ask but she allowed Yuuto to finish his story as she sat there eating and listening. Listening further, she could tell by her brother's words how distressed he feels regarding his friend Shouta. And she could tell he wanted to work with him on his comic as his artist even if it was only temporary but his friend felt otherwise about that. Feodora wasn't surprised to hear that but it would seem that Yuuto was and clearly didn't understand it. He wanted to be in his friend's life again but clearly did not understanding why the other was being very distant. 'It seems like I'm going to have to explain it to him after all,' she thought humorously. "I know you mean well, Yuuto but you have to look at it from his perspective too. Even though after all this time that he was searching for an answer that you finally gave him, he still doesn't trust you. He fears you might do it again and you can't really blame him for feeling that way." She momentarily sat her fork down on her plate to lace her fingers together as her eyes were sternly on her brother. "You broke off your friendship with him and he's still hurting from that more than likely. And now that he's older, it's not surprising he's quite different as a person and probably not as trusting as he once was. Our father is a cold bastard that likes to have his way. When things fall out of line whether it is with work or his children, he makes sure to place us in positions where we can't refuse him. You, unfortunately, got placed into the worse position of having to let go of your friend. Now, you have to pay the price for that. It's going to hurt and nothing is ever easy but you have to give your friend some time to be able to trust you." She hoped that her brother wouldn't be upset with her but she wasn't going to sugarcoat anything. All actions and decisions have consequences to them. Yuuto is just on the worst end of his consequences by expecting his friend to rekindle their friendship and not be at least upset about how they stopped being friends in the first place. But she couldn't help but feel that something else was at work here and decided to pry a little bit. "Is Tou-san still pressuring you in finding a mate or on a random occasion trying to set you up with someone?" she queried, wondering how he'd respond to that question. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | Feodora sighed. She knew that Yuuto was right but that still didn't mean she didn't feel bad that it happened anyway. Tatsuya knows better and he's going to end up in a situation he can't just make go away. Not even their father could make it go away. That's what's going to happen if he kept sexually harassing people that clearly don't want him. Not everyone is interested in money simply because you throw it at them. It was quite clear that Yuuto's friend Shouta was one of those people. With Tatsuya being prideful, she also knew he doesn't take rejection well but he got taught a lesson in the end. She is still questioning why Shouta's friend Sadie didn't press charges. 'Maybe she had her reasons. Knowing Tou-san, he would've tried to coax her into accepting some sort of deal to make those charges go away. I don't know if she's the type of woman that would agree to that but I am aware that many have. If only to avoid Tou-san's wrath,' Feodora thought as she eat more of her food. More than anything she was just glad that Yuuto's friend was alright. She continued to sit there eating while listening to her brother. His words, and his body language, the woman could tell that he was hurt by having to break his friendship with Shouta. But she got this strange feeling there was something more to it than just that. She couldn't put her finger on it but hearing him declare that he won't allow anyone to interfere with his decisions again, showed her he meant what he said. That he was serious about wanting to make things right and repair his friendship with Shouta. 'Is it really that though? Yuuto has never felt this strongly regarding a person before. All over a broken friendship. I don't think he even realizes it himself,' she thought, tapping her fork lightly against her plate a couple of times as she tried to think of how to bring it to her brother's attention without him getting upset over it. She didn't think he would but her brain was just nagging at her to do so. "I'm not surprised he's still doing that. I'm sure you would've connected with at least one of those suitors and bonded with them if you were interested. Yet, Tou-san's reasons are usually not for us finding love. He wants us to find someone that provides financial stability," she replied with a sigh. "That sounds nice on paper but that's a boring lifestyle to have. I even find it wrong how he attempts to control the friends we have. He won't tell us the truth right then why he doesn't approve of our friends. He tells us when he's good and ready. I don't like that at all. And I know you want to make things right with Shouta but again, you can't expect that to be immediate, Yuuto. He hasn't seen you in years. You two are probably vastly different compared to when you were younger." She sat her fork down on her plate as she laced her fingers together, her eyes directly on her brother as she gave him a stern look. "I think he will forgive you eventually. You really do want what you had with him back but now that you're both adults, it's not going to be the same." Feodora kept her eyes on Yuuto as she cleared her throat before speaking further. "You probably won't like me saying this but I will have to ask just so you can be aware of how you're expressing this strong desire to fix things with Shouta. Are you sure that the only thing you want with him is the friendship you had or are you feeling something more for him?" Feodora knew her brother wasn't the easiest person to connect with on an emotional level and it's rare when he allows himself to connect with anyone. But not like this with anyone outside of his former friend and it's why she was questioning him about it. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | "Yeah well, tou-san not backing down is the reason I left. He started barking orders at me and threatening me to where I got sick of it and decided to leave and pursue my own goals. Our mother would've wanted that for all of us. I don't like the woman that he's with now and her son is no better but he's our stepbrother and we've had to make do with that. Tatsu is still an idiot though," Feodora said with a long sigh. She wasn't sure when Tatsuya would ever grow out of his ways but after this long, she didn't imagine that being anytime soon. And Neji became more neutral and distant but the woman was glad he wasn't outright abusing Yuuto anymore. He was just struggling to figure out how to make up for what he did to him. As for Yuuto's other situation regarding his friend Shouta, Feodora could tell by looking at her brother just how much he was struggling trying to give her an answer to her question. But he'd simply responded with he didn't know. She tilted her head to the side. 'He really cares about Shouta. I can tell. I don't know to what extent outside of the friendship they once had but I can't help but feel that some part of him is struggling with feelings he didn't believe would surface,' she thought, sitting her fork down on her play momentarily to stand up and reach her hand forward and place it atop her brother's head to comfort him. "You can talk to me about what you're feeling, Yuuto. I'm not going to judge you. I never have. Only you know what you're feeling. It's not something I can answer for you. And I'm not telling you to not care about your friend. I just want you to take the time to think about just how much you care about him. Given how you've been speaking about him, it sounds as if something more is going on with you regarding him. More than you're willing to admit." She removed her hand from her brother's head and sat back down in her chair, her attention fully on him. Feodora knew Yuuto didn't like talking about mating at all with anyone. Naturally, it is an uncomfortable discussion to have with anybody. But for his sake, she wanted to make sure her brother knew what he wanted from Shouta. If he wanted his friendship again, he just need to be patient and allow time for things between them to mend. If he wanted something more with him, well, she wasn't sure how that was going to work out given that Shouta still didn't trust Yuuto all because of their father's interference. If Yuuto has thought about wanting Shouta as a mate, Feodora knew that wouldn't go over well with him. Personally, she would be supportive but this had to be what this was. She didn't want to probe for something that wasn't really there. She'd rather for her brother to tell her on his own. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | Feodora stared at her brother for a moment before resting her chin on the back of her hand and her lips began to form into a smile. "There it is. That's what's really bothering you. It's not just his friendship you want, you do desire to be more than that with him," she replied with a small chuckle. "I kind of figured. You'd only come talk to me about your only friend who you were happy to have and then when our parents forced you to break your friendship with him, I saw in your eyes how broken and empty you were to not have him in your life anymore. Now that you've crossed paths again and listening to you speak on how strongly you want him back in your life, it's not hard to see that you've already chosen the person you want to be with." She saw how emotional Yuuto became as he spoke about Shouta more. How he was fine with just being friends with him and wasn't going to press for more than that. Considering how long her brother has held that in for so many years, she had a feeling Shouta would accept his feelings immediately but maybe in due time there was a chance he might. Her brother just had to understand that he will have to rebuild the trust he once had with Shouta and that definitely won't be easy. "I believe you when you say you wouldn't force him to do anything. You're just going to have to give him some time to trust you again. I can't say whether or not he'd accept the idea of you being his mate. That's something you'll have to discover on your own. But I'm always here to be supportive of you whenever you need me. But with him, you're going to have to take your time. More importantly, don't stress yourself over our parents. They'll never approve of anyone we're with. We just have to find our own happiness whether they like it or not." That's how Feodora had always felt. Naturally, she does want to have someone to be with and have a family but she wasn't rushing it. It'll come when it does. As for being arranged to marry someone, she always hated the idea of mating with a stranger. It made her skin crawl. It doesn't help that their stepmother always asks her when she'll find a mate and get married which is odd to ask considering she knows that woman doesn't give a Damn so why bother asking? There had to be an ulterior motive there but she wasn't going to force her brain to think about it. She'd only give herself a headache. Right now, she wanted to support Yuuto as much as she could. She hoped the advice she gave him would help. It isn't much but it's better than nothing at all. Feodora just wanted to see her brother happy again and he seemed most happy whenever he had Shouta in his life. |
(https://enchantinglove.createaforum.com/gallery/enchantinglove/0/10-060823062803-1911931.png) | Feodora nodded. "I trust that you'll do the right thing by your friend. I never had any doubts about that," she said, chuckling. As much as her brother tried to hide his emotions, he was too easy to read at times. Even if it takes him a moment to say what he really wants to say, sometimes she had to give him a bit of a push without pressing too hard to do that. She was his big sister, she was going to care about him no matter what. "Don't forget, if you ever need me for anything, you know you can always come to me. In fact, I'd rather you'd come to me over our parents. If I have to advise you against anything, I would tell you upfront without taking away your ability to make your own choices." She hated that their parents did that to them and she was grateful that Neji eventually realized that but still couldn't bring himself to face Yuuto without feeling ashamed for what he'd done. Tatsuya was a whole other story. She didn't believe he'd learn anything. He's no different from that woman that's their stepmother now. He was a lost cause and he was going to have to learn the hard way on his own that he can't treat people how he believes they should be treated in his warped mind. Feodora was thankful that she and Yuuto remained close. She'd love for their entire family to be close but that was nothing more than a pipe dream now with them having differing views. Nothing could be done about that. She can only focus on the now. And right now, it would seem that Yuuto knew what he wanted and how he was going to go about it. Feodora was happy to listen to her brother and allowing him to talk out his problems. Plus, it was nice to see him happier. He deserved it. He's waited for this long to be able to reach out to his friend, she knows he's patient enough to gave him time to trust him. In the meantime, she was enjoying their quality time together. Chuckling as he'd finished the meal she'd prepared and inquired about any dessert she may have made. "Not this time unfortunately. I'd only bought an angel food cake I was just going to decorate later. But if you want a slice of it anyway, I don't mind giving you one," she'd offered. |

It was probably better without the decorations that add additional sugars, but it is what it is. She wasn't going to force him to take any. More than anything, she was happy to see her brother in better spirits. He didn't seem as down as when he first came, but their talk probably gave him a lot to think about regarding his friend Shouta. Despite how different they are from each other, she wants the best for her brothers. She wants to see them happy. Feodora had faith that her brother would be fine and that he'll figure things out as they went. She chuckled at his comment, stating he probably didn't need the sweets. "It's totally fine. I'll probably make something over the weekend. You're free to come back then if you'd like," she told him. Feodora didn't mind a visit from her brothers at all. Yuuto was the only one, as Neji and Tatsuya never seemed to. Neji at least did talk to her from time to time. Tatsuya never did. She didn't expect him to. He needed to grow up and act like an adult instead of a trash human being that looked down on others. But he had to learn that on his own. Right now, she needed to be there for Yuuto. "I'm glad you enjoyed dinner. I put you in a better mood, so I have done my job successfully," she joked lightheartedly. "And I would certainly hope you'd reach out to me when you need to talk. Unlike the rest of our family, I'm always open to conversation." Yuuto hugged her suddenly, surprising her. Smiling, she returned her brother's hug as he prepared to be on his way. "Please take care and keep me informed on what's going on with you and your friend, okay?" Feodora genuinely wanted to know. She was worried. It sounds like Shouta is going through a difficult time in his life and has no idea how to deal with it. She didn't know what advice she could give Yuuto to help in that area, but she'll do her best to help however she could. |
