Personality: Hayate is known as a person who plays by the rules but is always sarcastic in his approach if his buttons have been pressed too far and he no longer has a filter. He tries to refrain from using vulgar language but a lot of the time, he tends to slip up depending on who he is interacting with. He is strict, yes, especially when it comes to teaching his students and maintaining order in the classroom while he is teaching. However, once someone gets to know him, they'll learn he has a strong passion for music, for he has fun playing the piano. He shares the skills he has with students who are interested in learning how to play. He takes the lessons seriously, be they music-related or not. He's also a man who enjoys cars. He drives a silver Maserati 3000 GT as it is his favorite model. He maintains it regularly, keeping it in good condition. During his downtime from teaching, he hangs out with old friends from his university days to drink and play pool. This shows he has a looser side of himself that he only shows around close friends. Despite how strict he is, he does have instances where he can be caught off guard by people.
Many a time his friends and his students have tried to play pranks on him. He's always able to tell firsthand who is the ring leader of the prank and avoid it, especially if it's so easy to see from a mile away. However, there have been times when he's fallen for pranks from people he least expects to prank him. It makes Hayate feel like he needs to do better at reading people. He doesn't stoop to the level of others and prank them back, although he has been often told that he should. Hayate refuses to as he feels like he doesn't need to resort to doing something he considers childish and petty. However, he will call people out on their behavior and actions which doesn't win him favor in the eyes of many. Hayate also doesn't like showing his anger which can be invoked by anyone trying him and he ends up saying things he doesn't mean to people out of frustration. He's usually poked fun at by his male friends for being a virgin because it is a rarity among Alphas. This means he can be caught off guard by women who find him attractive and try to flaunt themselves at him. His friends poke fun at him for it but he tells them to shut up. He'll do the same with anyone else as well.

Face Claim: Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love - Reiichi Himuro
Appearance: Hayate is 6'1 with short light blue hair and green eyes. He's often seen wearing glasses, he has a muscular build with pale skin. He's always seen dressed clean, no matter casual or work. His clothes are never seen out of place. His facial expressions are hard to read when he is serious and he presents an indifferent and neutral expression. However, he can show that he is kind and his expression softens depending on the situation he's in. He does show anger when his friends or his students test his patience.
Hayate IHistory: Hayate is the oldest son to parents Taisuke Tachibana (Male, Alpha), and Hina Tachibana (Female, Omega). He also has a younger sister named Hikari (Female, Beta). His life growing up with his family was fairly normal. His father worked as a university physics professor while his mother was a stay-at-home wife but would do data entry remote work from home. In Hina's eyes, it is better when a family is together than apart. Secondary genders never mattered in Hayate's family which was clear between his parents in how they loved one another and treated people around him. This also showed a lot in how they raised the two of them. Never treat anyone as less than because of fleeting superficialities. Like the average parents, they encourage their children to set goals for themselves. Hayate already had it made up in his mind that he wanted to become a teacher like his father. With that goal in mind, Hayate knew that he had to study hard. His sister didn't know what she wanted to do but she said when that time comes, she'll have something in mind but she would jokingly say that she'll always ask either their father or Hayate to tutor her when she needs it.
Showing that they all got along well with one another. Hayate would study hard, taking his academics seriously to become a teacher in the future. He also didn't mind tutoring her sister when she needed it and if their father was busy. As for friends, Hayate had them but he wasn't someone who liked being the center of attention. Rather, he didn't know how to handle all eyes being on him and being showered with praise. He found it to be embarrassing. But it is through these friends he developed a rather foul mouth but only whenever he was upset. He didn't like it when people tested his patience and there would be plenty of times his friends would get bored and try to do stupid things such as prank one another. Hayate didn't care much for it, but at the same time, he tolerated it because they were people who didn't care about someone's secondary gender and status. They just wanted friends, to have fun, and feel normal. Even if his friends acted like idiots at times, despite that, Hayate appreciated their friendship. This isn't to say that he didn't have issues with other students who did care about such things.
Many of them didn't like the idea that he was someone who excelled in his studies but was a low-rank Alpha. Hayate didn't think much about his secondary gender when he came of age. He saw it as something he would have to contend with and had to start taking suppressants to keep himself under control to avoid falling prey to anyone trying to use their scents to tempt him. That hadn't meant no one tried, whether it was guys or girls. He was a rather attractive young man to many but it wasn't something Hayate paid attention to. He wasn't oblivious to the fact that others were attracted to him even in junior high where his growth spurt began. His sister often teased him at how he was as tall as a tree. He knew she didn't have malice behind her words but much like his secondary gender, Hayate didn't put thought into his height or looks. However, he always made sure that he was presentable anytime he went out. He was a relatively calm guy unless someone was purposely getting on his nerves for childish reasons. He continued to have the same friends even throughout high school as well. High school is also where his interest in cars and music was piqued. His close friend Yusuke Kanzaki got his license at sixteen and had been allowed to drive his parents' nice car.
Of course, Hayate was fascinated by the model of the car and had decided that he'd want to drive a nice car of his own. He first needed to learn how to drive and how to keep up with cars. Something he did in his spare time. That along with learning music, which he found relaxing to listen to. He thought it interesting to learn to play an instrument and though he originally tried to learn to play the violin, he was bad at it and told to stop by his teachers. Instead, he was taught how to play the piano which he was surprisingly a lot better at than he expected he would be considering how bad he was at playing the violin. The way he played the piano would often bring students from other classes to the music room who were enamored by his talent. Again, Hayate didn't like attention because he didn't know how to handle it. That said, some people didn't like that he had exceptional academics and got noticed by the teachers for his efforts. Hayate would merely brush them off and not engage in petty squabbles unless he had to, like if they were deliberately trying to make things difficult for him. Outside of childish pranks that got on his nerves, it was never anything that disturbed his daily life.
Hayate just enjoyed doing what he enjoyed, regardless of how others felt. He graduated high school at the top of his class and attended Kaibara University to study to become a teacher. Two of his friends from his group went to different universities while the other three, one of them being Yusuke went to Kaibara, studying different majors. Hayate's family was proud of him, with her sister saying she wasn't that far behind him and she'd catch up to him soon. He encourages his sister to try her best and he'll support her every step of the way. That said, Hayate began to immerse himself in his studies to gain as much knowledge and skills needed to become a teacher. He didn't allow his social life to be overtaken by his studies either as he made active opportunities to engage with others and form new friendships. No more did he have to deal with people trying to make his school life annoying because they were jealous of him. He was never someone who would purposely make enemies, but there would always be someone who didn't like him for some reason or another. He chose not to pay attention to it.
Yusuke always found that funny about his friend how he didn't let things like that bother him, but he was worried that he wasn't putting himself out there because of it. He'd encouraged him to explore putting himself out there and start dating. So, he did. Unfortunately, each attempt led to comical yet disastrous consequences, as the girls Yusuke introduced him to seemed more interested in Hayate's Alpha status than in building a genuine connection. The encounters left Hayate disillusioned. He quickly recognized the pattern of women trying to use him for their personal gain, repeatedly trying to tempt him and put him in compromising situations. Rejecting their advances gained him a reputation that some of the scorned women took pleasure in tarnishing. Rumors began to swirl around campus about Hayate, but it did not affect him since people knew who he was as a person and he wouldn't get upset with anyone without a reason. He ignored the rumors and just prioritized spending time with Yusuke and their circle of friends who gathered regularly for drinks and casual games of pool. For Hayate, these moments with friends were more fulfilling than any fleeting romance and it is through these connections he learned the value of genuine connection over superficial connection.
At age 21, he graduated from Kaibara University which was a teaching job already lined up for him at Astraea Academy. He was happy that his accomplishments got him to where he wanted to be and his family was right there congratulating him. He began his journey as a fourth-grade homeroom teacher at Astraea and he was quite excited to teach young students and shape their minds for the future. For three years, Hayate found himself working with fourth graders who were an excitable yet spirited bunch. He established firm discipline in his classroom, not hesitating to reprimand his students when they stepped out of line which made his students fear him in the beginning. However, he understood they were still children and balanced out his discipline with nurturing. He also made family visits a regular routine as it allowed him to engage with his students' parents and gain insight into his students' lives. After all, Hayate wasn't just an authority figure, but a supportive mentor that wanted to invest in his students' growth. Even his colleagues began to see the warmth behind his intensity, often remarking on how he genuinely cared for his students’ well-being.
Now, as he entered his fourth year at age 25, he faced a fresh challenge—his new class of students, the infamous 'class misfits'. Hayate, having yet to meet the students he'll be teaching assumed his new group of students was a rambunctious group and is prepared to turn around any misbehavior with his usual methods. Unaware of the reputation his new students carried with them, Hayate found himself unprepared for the whirlwind of energy and chaos that awaited him. While he attributed their rowdiness to the innocence of childhood, he didn’t yet realize the unique dynamics and battles that lay ahead. The true test of his capabilities as an educator was about to begin, and little did he know, that these misfits would be a challenge and a test of his patience.
