Betas-β / Rebecca Hopkins [Beta]
« on: August 27, 2020, 07:08:06 pm »

"Intelligent people are hesitant, stupid people are confident."

Name: Rebecca Ashley Hopkins

Alias: Becca, Becca-chan, Becky

Date of Birth: August 18th, 2002

Age: 21

Primary Gender: Female

Secondary Gender: Beta

Character's Scent: Lemon and Mint

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Race: American

Species: Human

Hobbies: Dueling, Studying, Anime & Manga, Writing Fanfiction, Protecting her Grandfather, Doing Tech work on the computer

Powers/Abilities: ----

Personality: Rebecca has been dueling since she was the age of seven but didn't become the youngest regional duel monsters champion in the US until she was ten years old. Now an adult with a brilliant mind, she's very calculating when it comes to dueling and can defeat her opponents with relative ease. When it comes to the game of Duel Monsters, she doesn't mind learning new strategies in order to defeat her opponents. Rebecca doesn't take kindly to the idea of cheating and will never hold back to call someone out that does it. She prefers duels to be won fairly and expects other duelists to do the same. Outside of dueling, she's known for having a genius IQ of 300, showing that she has no problems with her studies on top of being good with computers. She can code and hack systems, no matter how difficult they are. She finds it to be a fun challenge whenever she's given a chance to actually do such work. Normally, she uses her computer for school or to help her grandfather with his research. Despite being intelligent, she does have interests in other things such as anime and manga as well. She doesn't buy as much manga but she does watch a lot of anime in secret and loves shipping together her favorite characters from the series she watches. As such, she's developed a hobby of writing fanfictions surrounding these characters of stories she visualizes them to be in. Of course, she shares them with no one she knows but she posts them online for others to read under a pen name. Her stories are pretty popular so there are oftentimes she's not always doing important work. She can have some fun too sometimes.

Rebecca is often traveling with her grandfather, therefore she doesn't have very many friends, and others her own age don't want to hang around her because they're intimidated by how intelligent she is and believe that she's too smart to hang out with them. Yes, she is ridiculed a lot about the high scores she makes on tests to where she literally doesn't have to attend an actual grade school. It's not as if she's never tried but it's partly due to the reason that she's tired of others misjudging her for being someone she's not. There are times when she will act like what they accuse her of being just to get them off of her back when they won't leave her alone. She doesn't like bullies and hates it when they pick on people. Rebecca knows there isn't anything she can do about what others say but that doesn't mean it doesn't bother her. She reacts violently toward others when they say something she doesn't like. In most cases, this is towards her grandfather who is often ridiculed for his research findings. She dislikes it when people find him to be crazy when he's done careful and expensive research to prove that his findings are indeed true. She refuses to believe he is anything but crazy and just like she puts forth time and effort into her own work, she knows he does as well. Her grandfather is another reason why Rebecca is unable to make friends because not only do his colleagues find him crazy but others that have heard of her grandfather and his work find him crazy too. She doesn't handle the negative things people say very well so this oftentimes leaves Rebecca alone.

Occupation: Rebecca works as a Professional Duelist and will partake in any tournaments if any are going on or if she is invited to participate in them. As of late, her spare time has been limited by her new job working at the Hanayashiki Museum as an Archive Intern and assistant to the Director of the Museum.

School: Kaibara University - Second Year, BS Degree in Social Science

Place of Living: Amestia Inn > First Floor > Room #004

Original or Canon: Semi-Canon

Face Claim: Yu-Gi-Oh! - Rebecca Hopkins (Younger Appearance) & Shugo Chara - Utau Hoshina (Eye Recolor, Adult Appearance)

Appearance: As a child, Rebecca stood at the height of 4'9" with long blonde hair that stops to the middle of her back but she always would wear it in two large bushy pigtails and light-green eyes that appear aqua in different shades of light. Now that she's a young adult, Rebecca's much taller now, her height being 5'2" and she's grown her hair out to be much longer, going past her back now. She still styles her hair in pigtails but does occasionally wear her hair down. She has a peach skin complexion with a few freckles on her face, and rounded eyes and she sometimes wears glasses when she's doing homework or reading but switches them out for contacts. She has a small body build for a girl her age and her bust size has grown a bit in the last three years she's been in Tokyo. She went from being completely flat-chested to B Cups. She's known for wearing casual clothing such as skirts with long sleeve shirts, a jacket, and white knee-high stockings and platform shoes. Rebecca I, Rebecca II, & Rebecca III

History: Raised in Beverly Hills, California, Rebecca Ashley Hopkins, a Beta, is the genius granddaughter of Professor Arthur K. Hopkins who is also great friends with Yuugi Motou’s grandfather, Sugoroku Motou. At first, Rebecca didn’t know much about who this Yuugi person was but from what her grandfather told her, he sounded like an interesting person. Well, before she accused his grandfather of stealing her grandfather’s Blue Eyes White Dragon card. As for her, she became a duelist at the young age of seven, her parents, Scarlett Leblanc (Omega, Female) and Ben Hopkins (Beta, Male) were both raised in well-mannered wealthy family environments. They worked regular jobs as any normal family would. Scarlett was a freelance writer that came from the LeBlanc family. The family’s reputation had already sunk into the mud many times over due to scandalous affairs and unlawful business arrangements. Sometimes even blackmail is involved.

Because of their sullied name, once Scarlett married Ben, a smart duelist from his younger years, from the Hopkins family, some of her family’s shame was wiped away. After a while, they eventually had their first and only child which was a girl they named Rebecca. As Rebecca grew up, she mostly spent time with her grandfather who worked everywhere but frequented Japan to catch up with his old friend. And even though he too was always busy anytime he went on an expedition looking for something to bring history to the light, he still tried his best to make time for his granddaughter. And not only was he an archaeologist, but a great duelist as well. She enjoyed his company, finding his work to be very inspiring even if it was also controversial. There was hardly a time she spent a moment with her parents for Scarlett would leave to do research for a new book and Ben was a traveling duelist.

So the servants pretty much took care of her, taught her everything they felt she needed to know and the rest, Rebecca learned on her own, for she'd inherited her father's smarts, becoming a young child genius. It was then she used her smarts to find what she was interested in. Starting by watching her parents, and what they did for a living. The writing was something Rebecca felt she wasn't good at, despite some of the small pieces she wrote being very good. Instead, she applies her writing only to her schoolwork. Then there's dueling. At the very young age of seven, she'd only had two years of experience since the game had been created, and she’d already begun to be an American dueling prodigy at eleven years old. Her popularity skyrocketed, gaining her instant friends when she was allowed to attend private school.

Many were amazed by Rebecca's dueling skills, others were jealous of it, as well as the fact that she was also smarter than most kids her age. By age twelve was when she’d arrived in Domino City, Japan to retrieve her grandfather’s Blue Eyes White Dragon card for she believed that Yuugi’s grandfather had stolen it. So in turn she challenged Mr. Motou to a duel but instead, she ended up dueling Yuugi to get the card back. But in the end, Yuugi surrendered thus giving her a card by the name of ‘Ties of Friendship’ as a gift and out of kindness. Contrary to popular belief Rebecca probably took Yuugi’s kindness as a sign of interest, thus developing a crush because he was kind to her despite how she acted towards him. Anytime she does cross paths with him, she addresses him as "darling" with much enthusiasm.

Rebecca also didn't attend public school. She did a lot of her learning online but decided to settle down in Tokyo, Japan, and attend Kaibara University when she was only fifteen years old. Her age caused her to stick out like a sore thumb as it was always difficult for her to make friends with anyone. She made do with being friends with Yuugi and the others and communicating with them frequently. Rebecca lives on her own at the Amestia Inn on a monthly basis because it's more affordable than the more expensive apartments. Her grandfather checks in on her due to being busy with his work but at least he does manage to call to see how she is doing. For the past four years, Rebecca had focused her attention on her education, graduating from Todai University with a BA Degree in Archaeology but continuing on with her schooling to obtain a BS Degree in Social Science at Kaibara University. Mostly to add a little extra to her resume. She has shocked many people who discover that she started college so young.

Since living in Tokyo, she's come across some familiar faces of people she is mainly acquainted with. The only familiar friend that lives in Tokyo is Anzu Mazaki whom she was surprised to discover also lived there and not in Domino with Yuugi and the others. She takes a lot of pleasure in teasing Anzu about her obvious feelings for the other Yuugi while not hiding the fact that she herself has feelings for the original Yuugi but also is aware that Anzu isn't the same person that she used to be when she first met her. They talk but she feels that emotionally Anzu is being distant and is concerned for her. Other than that, Rebecca's focused on her education and working at the Hanayashiki Museum as an Archive Intern and as an assistant to the Director of the Museum. Only on some occasions, she'll dust off her deck and duel because there is no way she'll give up her love for the game.

Makoto only chuckled, her hand removed from her mouth but held up to assure the young man that it was fine. His scent was mild and yet her intake of it caused her to blush unexpectedly. That'd never happened before anytime she was around Omegas. She supposed there was a first time for everything. The brunette would have to be more mindful of this now but hoped it was nothing more than a fluke. Besides, she didn't want Jacob thinking that she was upset with him about it. That would be ridiculous after all. It was common for people to release their scent while not experiencing Heat or Rut. There were only a handful of people that got upset over such a thing but Makoto wasn't one of them. "Iie, iie, Reiki-san, don't apologize. It was only mild, after all. I just didn't expect it to affect me if only a little bit. But no worries. I'm perfectly fine, I promise," she assured him with a smile.

Now that she'd cleared that up, her mind had also wandered back to remembering that she needed to wash her hands and because she had, she'd also remembered placing her hand over her nose and mouth when taking in Jacob's scent, causing her to sweatdrop at this realization. "Oh dear, it seems that your scent distracted me. I came back here to not only check and see how the cleaning was going but also to wash my hands since I touched that mop. And I've done a dumb thing by putting my hand over my mouth," Makoto laughed, lightly scratching the side of her cheek sheepishly. "Anyway, do you need any help finishing everything up? I don't mind since it'll get us both out of here faster. It's been a long day for everybody."

Cathy was amused by the idea of her teacher promoting the idea of using violence towards others that deserved it. She couldn't disagree with that but hearing him say that was quite hilarious to her. "Why Sensei, I do hope you're not encouraging me to take matters into my own hands? Not that I wouldn't but that's just so unlike someone such as yourself to say," she replied in a lighthearted manner, chuckling. As fun as the idea of beating someone that was deliberately acting like an idiot towards others, even Cathy had her limits. Now, she knew he wasn't saying go all crazy on someone. It was just that this sounded like something certain teachers would say that just didn't know how to deal with disruptive students anymore.

Thus why the young nekomimi took matters into her own hands without causing an uproar. Today was the only exception to that matter where she landed on someone on purpose to keep them from harassing another student. She was prepared to fight if they ended up taking it to that level but because her teacher showed up like he did, she didn't have to worry about that. As much as she didn't want to admit that, she understood why Usegi loved this man so much even if that realization made her feel a bit sad on the inside. He wasn't a terrible man. He was doing what he could as an educator to make sure that students in his class passed like they were supposed to and gave out discipline whenever it was necessary. It did make things at Hakoniwa better to deal with regularly. It was a better than the idea of attending a stuff old boarding school. No one there would understand her and she'd be nothing more than a robot like the rest prepped with mates assigned to them.

The idea of that sounded terrible, yet many boarding schools for well known families were like this. Teacher's like her Sensei wouldn't be remotely accepted in such an environment. Despite her jealously over the man being with the one she loved, without him here, Hakoniwa would be such a disaster academy right now. Breathing through her nose, she placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head to the side as she didn't take her eyes off her teacher. "I suppose many don't say it but be proud of the success stories that you've managed to create for the many students that graduated from here. There is at least someone taking charge. You may not see it but there are some teachers that rally behind what you do, even if they don't openly say it."

Cleaning the floors took about twenty minutes for Makoto to complete and she wiped her brow with the back of her hand in satisfaction at how fresh and clean everything smelled. Now all she had to do was check and see how things were going in getting the kitchen cleaned up but first, she rang the last bit of water out of the mop tightly and put it back in the maintenance closet. She then took the bucket, proceeded to dump the dirty water out down the closet drain then set it down beside the mop while grabbing a clean wash rag to dry her hands. Though she would need to properly wash them thoroughly when she got a second. Right now, she wanted to check on things in the back.

The same scent of cleaning products also came from the kitchen but it was also mixed with the faint scent of what smelled like coffee as well. At first, Makoto was confused by such a faint scent since all the coffee products were put away for the night and nothing was brewing either but as she entered the kitchen, it got only a bit stronger which caused her to cover her hand over her mouth, causing her face to be stained red, realizing that what she was smelling was the scent of her coworker, Reiki Jacob. All the others had cleaned up everything else and gone home but he was still here cleaning the kitchen by himself. She had split the work up between everyone to do but it was clear they had plans of their own to do the easiest of work to go home quicker.

So that just left the two of them here alone cleaning up everything else. However, she was not expecting to take in the scent of her coworker. It wasn't unpleasant but it was unexpected. She remained at the doorway of the kitchen while clearing her throat to get the young man's attention. "You might want to be careful about releasing your scent, Reiki-san. If I'd been anyone else, they would try to ravish you right now," Makoto spoke up, her face steady stained red from her blush. Thankfully, she wasn't heavily affected to where she would do that to him but the very thought of seeing her coworkers in such a manner she always deemed inappropriate.

The cafe was closing down for the evening and Makoto was carrying a bucket of water in one hand and the mop in the other to get started cleaning the floors. She had the later shift today so that meant she and whoever else worked late was tasked with making sure things were prepped and cleaned up for tomorrow. She was used to doing such tasks so it didn't bother her to do it. However, there was the occasional coworker that acted as if they were too good to clean. So, instead of arguing with them, she solved the problem by doing it herself. The brunette was supposed to be cleaning the kitchen area since that was more her workstation than working out on the floor, which she only did whenever they were shorthanded.

Much like today. With school back in full swing now that summer vacation was over, everyone was back to hanging out at their favorite places with their friends. The Melody Cafe was no exception to that. Everyone loved coming here. The reasons being a mixture between the different flavored drinks and the sweets that Makoto herself would prepare that the customers enjoyed. It made her happy to know that customers loved her cooking. Sometimes she would be nice and prepare something for her coworkers as well. She didn't mind it. They all enjoyed the sweets she made and that's what mattered. It was rare whenever there was a complaint and it was usually if one was too sweet, which Makoto offered to make a more sugar-free kind for those that didn't have much of a sweet tooth.

Many would assume she did the things she did to suck up and get recognition but that was the farthest thing from her mind. She wanted proper job recognition much as anyone else did. Something to put on her resume to show that she was a hard worker capable of handling things during high stressed situations, especially working in a cafe or a restaurant. She had a long way to go and she knew that but she was in no rush for what she desired. Setting the bucket down on the floor, she gripped the handle of the mop with both hands, stretching them upright before placing the end of the mop in the water. The chairs were already propped up on the tables and out of the way so nothing was preventing her from getting started.

Everyone else here was working on cleaning the kitchen properly like it should since she agreed to mop the floors. The aroma of the chemicals she used were coming up out of the water through the steaming heat. A nice scent since she used cleaning products such as bleach and another good scented yet powerful cleaning product to make the place smell good overnight with the AC left on. She began mopping while humming a soft tune to herself so it wouldn't feel as if she was surrounded by pure silence since there were no customers around.

Plot Pages / The Feminine Tomboy - Makoto Kino
« on: August 21, 2020, 08:05:15 pm »

Twenty-Eight • Human • Alpha • Heterosexual • Chef & Waitress at Melody Cafe • History

I WALK THROUGH THESE DOORS
THE MORNING OF MY FIRST DAY
Kino Makoto is a young woman that was born an Alpha and raised in America but later pushed by her grandparents to start a new life in Tokyo, Japan. She was best known for always getting into fights with others if they dared to piss her off or pick on others. The reasons behind her move to Tokyo were that she'd been expelled from her school in America due to fighting and her family had gotten fed up with it and shipped her off to her father's native country for schooling and reform. She disliked it in the beginning but later came to like it and become used to living in the country. Sure, she was the odd one out for her unusual height but she learned to live with it and ignore others commenting on it. While she may present to a lot of people as being intimidating to approach, in reality, Makoto is actually quite a nice person once you get to know her.

She loves to cook and she adores flowers, things that remind her of her deceased parents. Her personal life is an open book for she dreams of finding the perfect mate and getting married. She also wishes to someday own her own bakery or flower shop of her own. Makoto is a romantic at heart, therefore she's known for falling in love easily with guys. Though at the same time, she can be a tad distrusting of them because every single guy she ends up crushing on ends up dumping her for inane reasons such as her not being their type or her height being a turn-off to them. It doesn't stop her from wanting to find love someday. Despite her rough-and-tumble attitude, Makoto is willing to make friends with anyone she encounters. She still lives in Tokyo and attended two years at Kaibara University before deciding to take a break to focus on working to build up her job resume. She works as a chef and waitress at the Melody Cafe.

FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IN AWIHLE
YOU STAY OUT OF EVERYBODY'S WAY
Makoto didn't have any friends back in America and while she's met many people since living in Japan, there aren't very many she's close to that she can call friends. Acquaintances and coworkers would probably be better terms. She isn't against making friends but Makoto is usually misjudged for being a hostile and intimidating person upon first meeting her. She's usually not that way unless provoked. Meaning she'd have to see someone in trouble that can't defend themselves from someone who clearly can and she'd step in to protect them. On a regular day, Makoto is very calm and friendly. Since we aren't using any of the deep lore of Sailor Moon itself, I am able to work better with Makoto as a character without having to focus on her always establishing a friendship with the other characters. I don't mind still doing that if more of them are registered here but I don't find it to be a necessity. I'd prefer it if Makoto made friends outside of that group so she can connect with other people. It doesn't matter if they're an Alpha, Beta, or Omega as long as they're good people. Makoto still has trouble befriending those who are difficult in some way but she doesn't allow it to discourage her from wanting to be someone's friend, whether they open up to her or not. Therefore, I am very open to establishing some newfound friendships with Makoto. ^^

YOU LAUGH AT THE OTHERS
WHO BELIEVE THEY'RE SO COOL
With Makoto not being a Sailor Guardian in this universe, there isn't a need for me to focus so much on her being involved in supernatural battles. If she does become a part of these types of situations, this would be based on her having a close relationship with other characters that do have powers, whether they are human or non-human. She's definitely not unfamiliar with such individuals. At the moment though, there's no need to participate in any such plot unless of course I am presented with an idea that fits her. I am not against her being involved in regular altercations with NPC characters that are causing trouble which would be a normal day for Makoto more than her fighting a monster. She would step in to protect anyone in a situation where they are unable to protect themselves if she feels others are being harassed.

But I do want to focus on a more lighthearted or even comedic idea. I'm interested in the idea of rivals who are trying to challenge her ability to cook. Wanting to prove they are a better cook than her. This idea stems from my boredom during covid where I watched an anime called "Food Wars". Rather interesting and hilarious series. Now, I don't expect that dramatic weirdness where people are stripped naked because the food they're tasting is amazing but I am for the idea of a food battle against someone that believes they can prepare food better than her. I think that would be very interesting. If anyone is interested in that, feel free to respond below with any ideas you have in mind for it. ^^ At least this way, it shows I'm not only looking for battle-related RPs. I don't mind doing them but it's not a necessity for every character I own. Makoto would be that character in this case.

SOMEONE TELLS YOU THEY LOVE YOU
YOU'RE GONNA BELIEVE THEM
As it's been established that Makoto is a young woman that is known for easily admiring others and falling in love because she's either attracted to a trait about them that allows her to see that there is something good about that person that makes her want to get to know them more in a deeper level, I wish to stick with this concept. After all, Makoto dreams of finding a mate to get married to but she tends to fall for guys that are intimidated by her. She would love to meet a guy who isn't and wants to be her mate. Naturally, because of her strength and protective nature, she is admired by a lot of females she encounters as they find this quality about her to be amazing. They desire to be strong and confident line her but find themselves believing they don't have these qualities in themselves. Makoto would always assure everyone that they do have these qualities within them. They just can't be afraid to acknowledge it because they're being told they aren't allowed to.

Being an Alpha, many are intimidated by her because of this but it is only with males this happens and not with females. Makoto is clearly attracted to men and therefore would want a mate who is male. Unlike before when I was playing around with the idea of being either lesbian or bisexual, this time I'm going to keep it simple and have her be heterosexual. So I will apologize in advance to anyone that would've possibly wanted to establish a female partner for her. I can always make more characters for those types of relationships but for Makoto, I think it would be nice for her to meet a guy that wouldn't be intimidated by her and wish to pair with her. It doesn't matter if the male character is any of the three secondary genders so long as they are decent as a character and it makes sense that Makoto is able to connect with them, then I'm open to relationship/mate ideas presented. ^^

Alphas-α / Makoto Kino [Alpha]
« on: August 20, 2020, 07:46:42 pm »

"I prefer to earn my worth. It makes me appreciate it more."

Name: Makoto Kino

Alias: Mako-chan, Kino-san

Date of Birth: December 05th, 1995

Age: 28

Primary Gender: Female

Secondary Gender: Alpha

Character's Scent: Honey & Leather

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Race: Japanese American

Species: Human

Hobbies: Sports, Cooking, Martial Arts, Flower Arranging, Reading Novels (romance)

Powers/Abilities: ----

Personality: Makoto loves to cook, having learned how to before her mother died for she was the one that'd taught her. Mostly she makes sweet treats and eats them herself since she has no friends to share them with. She has cooked other types of food like baked chicken, Italian pasta, sushi, etc. Anything she feels she can make, she cooks it for she hopes to own a bakery someday. If not a chef then becoming a florist would be just fine with her for she loves flowers having made floral patterns. For such a sweet young woman she also has incredible physical strength, having been in many fights during her primary school days. Along with that, she's also good at sports such as basketball and ice skating. She doesn’t back down from a fight if challenged or if someone is being bullied and will stand up for her friends no matter what. Makoto is a hopeless romantic and therefore likes to read a lot of romance novels in hopes of someday finding that one guy that will love her just as much as she loves him. Makoto is very optimistic about finding love and doesn't give up on that despite her hardships.

Because Makoto has gotten into many fights back at home in America, she was transferred to Tokyo, Japan to go to school there which bothered her as it meant she had to start over in a country she was unfamiliar with. She also knew she'd be given a hard time which it'd happened which is why she would stay to herself to avoid conflict. Many are often intimidated by her because of her height and presence. Makoto also has a fear of airplanes due to her parent's death in a plane crash being the reason for this fear. It isn't something that she talks about with people since it's rather difficult for her to get close to anyone that isn't immediately intimidated or afraid of her. This also hurts her in the romance department. She is a romantic at heart and has a tendency to fall in love quite easily, confusing other guys she meets as her former senpai which broke her heart. Which had to do with internally feeling alone and why she falls for every cute guy she comes across. A lot of guys are also intimidated by her tomboyish nature which is a turn-off to them and it internally makes her sometimes feel bad about the fact she isn't like most girls. She does want a mate to love but struggles with trying to make herself appeal more to others outside of being seen as just an Alpha.

Occupation: Chef and Waitress at Melody Cafe

School: ----

Place of Living: Amestia Inn > First Floor > Room #007

Original or Canon: Semi-Canon

Face Claim: Sailor Moon Crystal - Makoto Kino

Appearance: Makoto is a very tall woman that stands at the height of 5'7'' with brown hair that she usually has tied up in a ponytail with a hair tie and emerald green eyes. From the time she was in middle school to high school, she always wore a different school uniform since when she attended Hakoniwa at the time, theirs did not fit her because of her height. It wasn't until she'd gotten into high school that she was able to wear the high school girls' uniform much later. Because she practices martial arts, Makoto is always in shape, considering she has a decent frame on her. She's very slender despite being a tomboy, weighing at least 120lbs but it is barely noticeable due to her height. She has a peach skin complexion, round face, and chin, and her eyes are also rounded but more oval-shaped. Makoto's known for wearing casual clothes like jeans, hoodies, shorts, and other various clothing that makes her appear more masculine. However, she does wear feminine attire occasionally. Such things as skirts, dresses, shorts, tank tops with sandals, sneakers, platform shoes, or high heel shoes.

History: Makoto Kino is a young woman with a strong and independent personality coupled with her most striking physical feature – her unusual height. Makoto was born in Arizona, Phoenix to parents Abigail McBride (Omega) and Montaro Kino (Alpha). Abigail worked as a pastry chef at a high prestigious restaurant that only served famous guests. At least that's what the owner always drilled into everyone's heads. She was a college student at the University of Phoenix who was barely making ends meet to stay on her own. No matter how much her parents tried to convince her that she could always live with them. Abigail just would not go back. Her family was seemingly rich but always felt that their daughter could do better than being a simple chef. They chastised her dreams so the minute she graduated from high school, she took it as her chance to prove both of them wrong.

She had a sister named Victoria (Beta) who was two years younger than her but the both of them never got along. Mostly because their parents paid more attention to Abigail for they saw big things in her. In reality, she wanted to leave out of the state, maybe even the country to pursue her dream to be a well-renowned chef. But of course, opportunities like that don't just fall in someone's lap just like that. No, she had to work for them. And that's what she didn't. However, she didn't meet Montaro until her final year of college for he was the type of person that loved plants and wanted to become a florist. He was a young Japanese man from Tokyo whose parents felt that what he wanted to become made him weak as they saw more in his future than being a florist. Abigail never saw it that way. They began talking to one another, and before long, the both of them just clicked. They became mates and married right after college both achieving what they wanted to become.

Eventually, Abigail's parents stopped pestering their daughter about her career choice and just accepted it. Congratulating her on the road to a new life and her new husband. Of course, they didn't like Montaro at first but they eventually warmed up to him as they saw that he truly did love their daughter. They had no choice since Abigail was pregnant with her first child, a girl they named Makoto Kino who presented as an Alpha. Both parents decided to raise Makoto in America, deciding that it would be best for her and easier than adjusting to her father's life in Japan, and by the time the child was five, she grew drastically. She was a happy and energetic little girl that loved to learn and do things that her parents did. Though, when she was enrolled in school, she had many problems with the other children teasing her about the fact that she was tall, calling her names like 'Granddaddy long legs' and 'Brunettezilla'. After so much teasing Makoto took matters into her own hands and would just resort to fighting to get the other kids off her back. She'd fought so much to the point she had to be expelled from school, exchanging from one to another. Montaro and Abigail were tired of their daughter's brutish behavior, chastising her that there are other ways to resolve problems without having to fight someone.

Granted the girl was strong, not necessarily a bad thing, but it'd made her parents look bad to have to be called from home all the time because Makoto got into yet another fight and ended up all bruised and sometimes bloody in certain areas. At age ten Makoto got fed up with her parents yelling at her because she fought all the time, never being able to stay in school, she said she hated them and ran to her room. Those were the last words she spoke to them before they were scheduled to get on a plane. Abigail had gotten an amazing offer to work as a chef for celebrities in Hollywood and Montaro was going along with her. But because of the severe storm, lightning hit one of the plane's wings, causing it to crash into the ocean. Since that fateful day, Makoto has blamed herself for her parent's death, not even having the chance to apologize to them for what she said to them. Along with the guilt, she gained a fear of flying airplanes, never wanting to fly in one in the future for she felt if she did, the same thing would happen to her as it did her parents. Sort of like a punishment for telling them that she hated them only because she felt they didn't understand how much different she was from her classmates in school.

From that day, she's lived with her mother's sister Victoria for a few years, still getting into one fight after the other. She hated Makoto and would often treat her cruelly by hitting the girl when she felt she was in her way or yelling at her for being a waste of space and saying things like she should've never been born. Makoto didn't too much care for her aunt either but put up with living with her since for some reason her mother's parents didn't want her to stay with them. They felt it was no place for a child her age. Though they did put forth some money for her to go to a junior high school that was well known, the only catch was, uniforms were part of the dress code. Which Makoto didn't mind at all. Things there went fairly well. She took some cooking classes, having remembered some of the things her mother taught her when it came to fixing food. She found out it wasn't really that hard and many enjoyed her cooking. She was often asked to participate in bake sales when fundraiser time came around.

At first, she didn't really get into plants and flowers all that much but decided to take an interest in it anyhow. A sentimental way to keep her father's spirit alive and fresh in her mind. Also, it was her way of apologizing to him. She found it to be very fun. She started out doing floral patterns and before long gardening came next. It didn't take long for her to join the flower arrangement club. Things seemed to be going well, despite how rough she had it at home. However, her stay there didn't last long when she got into yet another fight with some of the guys that were sexually harassing girls. Many told her it wasn't her place but she felt obligated to do something since no one else did anything. It was then her grandparents gave up and decided to have her shipped off to Japan where her father was from for schooling. They felt it may be the only thing to help their granddaughter. When she arrived her enrollment to Hakoniwa Academy was already squared away with an inn room for her to live in with other residents in a place called the Amestia Inn. All paid for. The school didn't have a uniform in her size so Makoto has to wear her old school uniform even though she will mostly be standing out.

It has a long skirt to it and it doesn't help that for a girl her height in Japan, it is very uncommon and is considered to be a visual cue for a person that looks like a delinquent. Makoto managed to graduate from Hakoniwa and apply for university at Kaibara where she studied to become a chef. Despite her tough appearance, she is very gentle, always wearing pink rose earrings to blend the demeanor she gives off when around people. She practices some martial arts to keep up her fighting skills and participated in sports at her previous schools. She dreams of finding the perfect mate and wants to own a cake and flower shop. Plus she loves to read romance novels in her spare time. She'd completed two years at Kaibara but decided to take a break to focus on working for a while. She still plans on becoming a chef but wants to have full hands-on experience, thus she stumbled upon the Melody Cafe, having not heard of it, and asked if they were hiring.

She prepared an example sweet dish to show how good her cooking was and she was happy to know what she made was delicious to them. Makoto still lives at the Amestia Inn, finding it easier to afford than trying to find a more extravagant place to live. It's only her and she feels she doesn't need more space. Well, if she filled her room up with any more plants she might. Plus working at the Melody Cafe as their new chef and occasional waitress, the money she makes helps to foot the bill for all her expenses. And she doesn't have to rely on her grandparents to help her. With her new job working at the cafe on her resume, it opens the door to bigger job opportunities and achieving her dream. Makoto is content with her life and can't wait for more opportunities to follow. She has confidence that there's something great in store for her as long as she puts in the hard work to get to where she wants to go, those doors will open for her. After all, she'd rather be noticed for her skills anyway than be noticed for being an Alpha.

Hullo Jake-san! ^^ It's nice to meet you! I'm better known as Becca to many of the members that know me and the mods so you are free to call me by that name as well so you don't have to worry about wondering should you call me by my character's name Cathy or Catherine. *laughs* Can't wait to see you get started and joining us! ^^; I only have the one character right now for the time being but I will probably make more sometime soon. I'm not always on discord so you'll probably find me here in the forum's cbox at the bottom of the site. Feel free to say hi whenever you're around.

Cathy straightened her glasses up on her face again as she listened intently to her teacher speaking. It was strange but this would be the first time she'd had a normal conversation with the man outside of anything that didn't involve school. She knew he wasn't a bad person from the beginning since he was doing more to keep things grounded around the school compared to the other teachers that didn't seem to care. They only cared when it came to certain students they felt like praising because of either their grades or their secondary genders. Leiko was the only teacher who treated all students equally on top of not being afraid to give out punishment when someone was clearly in the wrong.

That said, it made attending Hakoniwa Academy easier. There were always going to be those students that acted as if they were better than everyone else for obvious reasons but it wasn't constant to where students didn't feel safe to come to school. For that, Cathy was grateful to have him as a teacher and Hakoniwa should be lucky they have at least one teacher trying to set things right. "Yes well, it happens to even the best of people who try to do some good in this world. It's why I don't spend time trying to be liked by everyone. It may be aggravating to always be seen as the "new student" every day but after this long dealing with it, it's kind of a blessing to go unnoticed. Especially when you're "suppose" to side with everyone's logic but in actuality, you don't."

Cathy believed she would be disliked by people regardless so unless there were people that she deemed likable enough to hold a conversation with, she'd do it of her own accord and not based around the reasons for following the societal gender system because that's stupid. It's wrong to use such a system to abuse others to bend to the will of someone they don't want to. The very thought of that sounded humiliating and though she'd never been placed in such a situation, Cathy always saw it both in and outside of school. "Perhaps it may not always be the case but the mere thought of harassing others while knowing it's completely childish simply because you were taught that way still doesn't make it less idiotic. In other words, some students attend here following the logic of their parents and causing grief for others. Which I often fix if I see it. Don't worry, no one gets hurt, I promise. I'm nonviolent after all," she laughed jokingly while sticking her tongue out in a playful manner.

Cathy was glad that her teacher hadn't picked up on why she was hissing at him. That would make for an embarrassing explanation if he attempted to press further regarding her actions. He passed it off as her being silly. She was fine with this. More importantly, he appreciated her helping other students, especially Omegas who are often bullied or harassed by Alphas. Normally they were either trying to take advantage of Omegas or just brag about how worthless they were, especially if they were lower class Omegas. It always ground her gears how many focused so much on the societal secondary gender system that treating people like people became an afterthought.

Cathy learned a long time ago that such a thought process wasn't taught in a lot of schools. It's why she preferred going to a public school instead of a private school. She'd feel less like she was in a prison being controlled and told what to do like a robot and the young nekomimi was happy her parents were accepting her decision. She hadn't regretted it ever since. That's why she felt so grateful to having Usegi as a friend in her life. She may be disappointed she couldn't have him as her mate as she wanted but as long as he was happy with their teacher, she could be happy for both of them. Right now, she just couldn't admit that out loud just yet.

"Yes well, there isn't anything that can be done about the behavior of idiots other than reigning them in. Talking never seems to work so you have to do, what you have to do to get the point across. I feel like Hakoniwa has flourished with you here, Sensei. If you weren't, the school would be in complete disarray. There wouldn't be students like me who care about the well being of their fellow peers if it wasn't encouraged that we treat each other as equals," said Cathy honestly.

Cathy was prepared to deal with the three guys their comeuppance should they have tried to attack her. This had been thwarted by the familiar presence of her teacher, Leiko Sousuke who grabbed two of the boys and tossed them a few feet away from her and landing on the ground with the third male student, the Beta, standing there with a frightened look on his face. The gray-haired Nekomimi pouted due to being disappointed that she wasn't the one to show teach these guys a lesson. Not like she was going to do anything remotely terrible but if they pushed her, she could. Cathy didn't see that happening since guys like them tend to give up when outmatched.

Kind of like now seeing how her teacher towered over them and in an authoritative voice, gave them detention as well as threatened that they do not return to campus at all if they don't show up to it. It wasn't a fun punishment but the problem was taken care of. And those three guys took off running which left her with her teacher and the female Omega they had been bothering. All she could do was fold her arms across her chest. The Omega, on the other hand, bowed to the two of them and thanked them both for helping her. Cathy told the girl it was no problem and left it at that. At least the girl was appreciated for being helped. Some would just flat out run away without so much as a thank you. It was nice hearing it for once compared to her usual tactics of getting back at others sneakily, which she still might do just for her amusement.

Once the girl had gone on her way, her teacher had addressed her, sending an annoying chill down her spine which made her turn around to face him and comically lash out at him with a hiss. It only took her a second to recompose herself, coughing into her fist as she lightly scratched the side of her cheek in a sheepish manner, her cheeks stained pink from embarrassment. "You underestimate my flexibility and skills, Sensei," Cathy finally replied to him as she fixed her glasses upon her face.

The school day wasn't over yet and already Cathy couldn't keep her eyes and distance away from her long time crush, Tsukishino Usegi. If she wasn't interacting with him, she was stealthily using her free periods to keep track of him. Yes, this made her a glorified stalker, she knew this, but she also meant no harm to anyone. Well, unless they were deliberately being stupid, then she would step in and shut it down immediately. She'd only avoid showing this side of herself around Usegi since she didn't want him to think of her as violent or crazy. She may not be able to be with him but she was happy to have his friendship. Currently, Cathy made do with perching herself among the trees of the school courtyard, sitting on a sturdy enough branch. It was the first lunch period which she knew the blonde wasn't going to be present at. But because of her grades, she had a lot of free periods and fewer classes which left her feeling bored.

In any case, she took notice of the bright and beautiful day outside but it was hot so, despite that, it was rather a terrible day to be outside. With no fear, she stood up on the branch she was perched on, stretching her arms above her head as the view below could be seen of students either passing by or hanging out in the courtyard during this time. Cathy was always that one student that went unnoticed by others, always being seen as the "new student" anytime she did speak up which was rather depressing. Lowering her arms, her eyes began to scan the courtyard some more. Her enhanced hearing allowing her to hear the various conversations going on between other students and all of it drab and ridiculous. Everyone had their cliques which were normal for high school. People hung out with those that were popular or misunderstood. Though that was the normal standard which was still common most cliques were formed based on one's secondary gender which Cathy hated and avoided. Most of the people within such cliques were terrible people that bullied others. This kind of thing made a lot of people naturally alone. As sad as that was, this was the cold hard truth.

However, Cathy was past the point of being depressed over things she found to be trivial. In the meantime, the lunch period was going to be ending soon and she wanted to get to the next class she had to attend. Crouching down, she was about to leap off the branch she stood on until she'd heard some commotion going on below her. Her eyes immediately strayed downward to see a group of male students, two Alphas and one Beta, harassing an Omega female student who was telling them to go away. Being guys who didn't know how to take a hint the first time, the continued to childishly tease the poor girl. Cathy's eyes narrowed, the anger in them quite clear as she glared down at them. 'Such playground idiocy. This will not do at all,' she thought, using the branch to her advantage as she slid off of it quietly but quickly grabbed hold of it tightly with both hands. When one of the guys got just close enough, she released the branch and allowed herself to drop down on top of them, her feet crashing onto the Alpha male's back which she used to do a backflip off of him.

Being flexible had its advantages. The guy cried out in pain while rubbing his back with his hand and his two friends staring at her with a look of annoyance on their faces. That wasn't a look she got from people, but since she interrupted what they were doing, Cathy figured she'd pretend to play it off like she had no idea what was going on. Therefore, she laughed, placing her hands on her hips while tilting her head to the side. "Oopsie. My bad. I was so busy relaxing in the tree that time flew by me and I didn't know anyone was down here. Je suis vraiment désolé, nya," she innocently apologized in her second native language which was French while putting on a cute innocent act. Her ears twitching back and forth and tail swishing from side to side as she didn't take her eyes off of the three guys.

Plot Pages / Hello Kitty! You're so pretty! - Catherine Himeshiro
« on: July 10, 2020, 11:02:48 am »

Twenty-Two • Heterosexual • Alpha • ¾ Human & ¼ Nekomimi • Kaibara Student • Bio

ABOUT
Catherine Himeshiro is an eccentric young Alpha woman that is a former student of Hakoniwa Academy and is now attending Kaibara University as a first-year student. Catherine was someone that was often considered a new student by her peers because she didn't actively socialize with them and they in turn didn't socialize with her either. Because of this, she's often the observer of countless situations that involve students being bullied by other students for stupid reasons. She usually ends up getting them back for their actions by breaking into their homes like a literal cat burglar and dressing them up in humiliating outfits to show them how it feels to be bullied. No one has caught on to this and she makes sure that they don't. Catherine also collects an array of cats who have become her friends. The only friend she did have when attending Hakoniwa was former classmate Usegi Tsukishino because he was the only one that didn't treat her as if she were a stranger. And being part Nekomimi shows that Catherine has a skittish and distrusting nature that prevents her from making friends with others. Her family is also well off but she keeps this a secret from everyone since she doesn't wish to be judged or used based on her family's wealth.

FRIENDS
As mentioned before, Catherine doesn't have many friends outside of the stray cats she's collected and former classmate Usegi Tsukishino whom she has a crush on. This crush stemmed from him being the only one that doesn't treat her like a stranger out of all their classmates. She had her moments of being shy when talking to him but kept her interactions with him on a casual level since she didn't want him to feel intimidated by her being smarter than him. She hardly focuses on the fact that she's an Alpha as secondary gender is more of an afterthought to her. The only time she's seen socializing with anyone outside of Usegi is if they're someone that he knows and from that interaction alone, she determines whether or not they're good people. They're more like acquaintances than friends with her. However, it isn't hard for her to tell that others are intimidated by her not only because of her intelligence but because she's an Alpha as well, even though she doesn't act as most Alphas do. It's not something she likes to use and hold over everyone which she finds to be annoying. Once one gets to know her, she can be really sweet and friendly. Being a Nekomimi, it isn't shocking in the least that it takes her a while to warm up to people. I am open to the idea of anyone with characters wanting to be friends with her. She could use them. Anyone she becomes friends with, she won't openly admit right away to coming from a wealthy family since she doesn't want to be recognized based on that but rather as a regular person and not for her status. It's one of many reasons she tends to stay to herself since the idea of being popular doesn't interest her in the slightest.

RIVALS & ENEMIES
I don't picture Catherine being caught up in any family-related scandals since her parents do legitimate business to provide for their family. I'm not against it but it's something I don't picture with her. Supernatural-wise, I'm open to ideas regarding that as well. I'd rather her not be a target though but someone willing to help and protect others from harm. If anyone has ideas in this area, feel free to post them below and we shall discuss them. Rivals, the only rival Catherine would have is her former teacher Sousuke Leiko since she knows that he and Usegi are together romantically but hasn't brought it up to Usegi in terms of questioning him about it. She has no reason to since who he dates is not her business. That didn't mean she wasn't jealous and did comically hiss at her teacher a lot but played it off the reason behind doing it being related to something or someone else. Outside of that, I don't have anything else in mind. She is attending Kaibara and based on her major and her hobbies, maybe there are some rivals to be had there. She is an avid gamer which is something she's always wanted to share with others but was never given much of the opportunity to do so. She's part of the school's gaming club so maybe that can work out somewhere. She also wants to make outfits for cosplay purposes and maybe a rivalry can be built from that as well. ^^ Open to any ideas.

LOVERS
The only person Catherine has a romantic interest in is Usegi Tsukishino and since that pairing will not be possible here, I am fine with that. I'd like to have her take an interest in someone else anyway. Help her grow more as a character. Catherine is straight so not open to yuri or bisexual ships with this character. I'll make other characters later that are more suited to that. ^^; With Catherine, she's interested in boys only so if anyone has a guy character that would be interested in her, feel free to share some ideas that we can discuss. She is a character that tends to remain in the background a lot and she may or may not be aware that someone has feelings for her. It depends on the character. They would have to be a sweet person since she doesn't take to the idea of "bad boys" and bullies so don't try it for she's not going to be interested. *laughs* I am not picky regarding the secondary gender of the person taking an interest in her. For it isn't uncommon for two Alphas to be together, an Alpha and a Beta, and so forth. Just as long as the idea of the characters together makes sense in terms of compatibility, I am fine with most of anything. ^^;

Alphas-α / Catherine Himeshiro [Alpha]
« on: July 09, 2020, 11:06:12 pm »

“Cats are connoisseurs of comfort. Prove me wrong.”

Name: Catherine Himeshiro

Alias: Cat or Cathy (for short), "Cat Princess" (by her mother)

Date of Birth: December 25th, 2001

Age: 21

Primary Gender: Female

Secondary Gender: Alpha

Character's Scent: Dark Chocolate & Chestnut

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Race: ¾ Japanese & ¼ French

Species: ¾ Human & ¼ Nekomimi (Cat Girl)

Hobbies: Cats, Reading, Studying, Cosplaying, Video Games

Powers/Abilities:
Stealth Skills - Much like a cat, Catherine is able to sneak in places without being detected due to extensive knowledge and skill in many stealth tactics. In other words, if she wants to get into someplace, she'll find a way to do it even if it may involve breaking the law or two occasionally, though nothing incredibly serious beyond breaking and entering. She's perfected her stealth skills on some of her former peers and others at Hakoniwa Academy who has a habit of making the lives of others around them miserable. So she broke into their homes and changes their entire wardrobe to hideous clothing and colors while throwing out all of their original attire and forcing them to wear what she left behind for them. None of them ever put it together that Catherine was the culprit as she was careful enough to not leave any evidence of herself behind when doing this. She chooses this method of payback to avoid using the method of constant violence against idiots.

Speed & Agility - Through time and practice, Catherine has built up the skill to increase her speed and agility. She is able to easily do sprints, backflips, and other various gymnastic, athletic, and occasionally martial arts implements with little to no effort.  She possesses cat-like speed and it takes a lot for her to become tired after running for so long. But this added speed and agility to her body have made Catherine entirely more flexible. And like any "cat" she can leap and scale from high areas and land on all fours (hands and feet), without injuring herself.

Enhanced Smell & Hearing - Much better than the average person who can smell and hear things, Catherine learned to perfect these two senses more than her others which she uses for more important things that don't involve petty breaking and entering to humiliate others. She has learned to tell if someone is lying based on the hormones that a person's body releases and since people tend to sweat more when they're lying, the odor within the sweat rises which case making her hiss. Whether this is actually been proven to be helpful to her, no one that's hung around her specifically knows for sure. This could be due to Catherine's distrust and dislike of certain people and she would use this as a way to freak them out. As for hearing, she can't hear conversations from a mile away. Only within the current area, she's in. If she concentrates hard enough and focuses her hearing on the direction she's hearing sounds from, she'll be able from there determine if she needs to make a plan of escape if she's somewhere she isn't supposed to be or she'll mainly listen in on the many conversations her classmates are having involving meaningless topics. It's only useful to her as she can use it against them should she decides to break into their house and find a way to create a person's worse fear without getting caught.

Personality: Catherine particularly likes doing things your average nerd in would be doing. Studying is one of them and she has always made high marks in all of her classes. While she has no problems tutoring anyone who desires it, it's not uncommon for her to say no to those she doesn't wish to tutor, especially if she can tell if they're trying to use her for her smarts. Given she was considered a loner and due to her feline characteristics, she doesn't easily trust others very well, and although she will help others in need that she has a close friendship with them. She can be normally found at the public library either studying or looking for some new reading material. Something that doesn't bore her to death. She's very particular about the kinds of books she'll read. She typically enjoys books that talk about cats, have superheroes within them or other supernatural-type characters, or even mystery to horror books.

It is very seldom she'll read a romance novel and it is only if the story within the novel is believable romance and not something spewed for the sake of satisfying some "tween's sexual need" as she calls it. Catherine has a love for cosplaying, going as far as wearing cat-themed outfits with bells around her neck and on her tail. So it shows she's not above dressing up, be it in cat-themed outfits or something else that tickles her fancy. She's also good at playing video games even though she doesn't play them as often because she finds games to be boring when played alone. While Catherine still harbors some feelings for her former classmate Usegi Tsukishino, she has accepted that he is happy being with their former teacher Sousuke Leiko as his mate, even if because of that reason, she still comically hisses at the man without warning. She strives now to move on from her feelings from Usegi and try to focus on her life and aspire to do something she can be happy doing regarding a career.

She isn't particularly someone that stands out compared to others around her. She's only ever been shy when talking to Usegi but always hid her feelings for him because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. It's also why she never actively interfered in his relationship with Sousuke, preferring to have Usegi's friendship and company over not having that at all by being selfish and only thinking of herself. He was the only one that acknowledged the fact she existed when they attended classes whereas their other peers would always see her as the "new student", which irritated her. Since they've graduated, she's remained friends with him and settled for not focusing on finding a mate for herself. For her, she doesn't find it a necessity but annoying, she is always aware she can't escape her biological desires. As an Alpha, Catherine finds it distasteful when others belittle one another and won't hesitate to speak her mind if need be. She does have a temper when angered to where her cat-like behaviors start showing. Examples of this would be her scratching people with her fingernails if someone is annoying her or bothering someone else.

She's also not above breaking into their house and replacing their clothes with more hideous ones and throwing out their entire wardrobe just to get back at them. Although she hasn't been caught yet and it proves she has great stealth, it's obviously not the smartest thing to do knowing that eventually one will get caught. But she doesn't put her faith in fear so she does so without remorse for the person's humiliation. It is not surprising that she displays hatred towards dogs. No, she is not frightened by them but she does dislike them with a passion, calling them disgusting animals and believing that cats are superior to the canine species. It is apparent that her loneliness stems from the fact that her parents are never around so she does things often alone to entertain herself so she isn't bored. Attending university around new faces is different and while all eyes are on every student, compared to her previous school years, for the first time, she finds the attention and acknowledgment overwhelming and has a tendency to hide and want to be alone. It's taking her little by little to get used to such an environment where she's not ignored but she's willing to soldier through it to maintain and keep her grades up.

Occupation: Works Part-Time with her mother as a Doll Maker

School: Kaibara University | First Year, AS Major in Fashion Design Apparel & Art Specialization | Gaming Club Member

Place of Living: Living in family mansion located in the Asakusa District

Original or Canon: Original

Face Claim: Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal - Cathy

Appearance: Catherine is a Nekomimi, meaning she has a human appearance with cat-like features such as presenting ears and a tail. She stands at the height of 5'7 with long gray hair. She has large and expressive green eyes and also doesn't sport any eyebrows. She also wears a pair of large square-framed glasses but has been known to take them off and wear contacts occasionally. She has a pale skin complexion and her bust size ranges at a b cup average at best. A small c-cup if she wears a push-up bra but very seldom. As for attire, Catherine is fine wearing anything so long as she believes it looks cute and appeals to her appearance. As such, there will be times when she doesn't wear cat-themed attire but the majority of the time she does. She has been known to wear regular clothes with only some cat-related items present such as a bell around her neck and putting a bow on her tail. Cathy I

History: Catherine Himeshiro was born as an only child to parents Chanel Himeshiro, an Omega Nekomimi, and Hideyoshi Himeshiro, a human Alpha. Catherine grew up being given everything that she wanted that was her heart's desire. Sometimes being given gifts that she didn't want by her parents just to show that they love her. But it didn't replace how empty she felt without them in her life for the majority of it. Oh sure they were around when Catherine was unable to take care of herself being a baby up to an elementary school student but as she got older, her parents felt that their daughter was able enough to take care of herself and didn't need them around so they went back to their respective jobs. Chanel was a French American Nekomimi woman and a successful doll maker. Her doll creations have been sold all across the world, including variations of said does dress in holiday attire. From tall dolls to small dolls and even animal-themed dolls, Chanel made them beautiful and perfect for every little girl in the world to play with and love. She'd always dreamed of someday having a daughter of her own but could never find a man that caught her interest. Oh sure she always had offers from many men to date her but none of them she felt an emotional attachment with.

Then came Hideyoshi Himeshiro. His family was built from a successful toy company in Japan and always sought to do business with their competitors in the market. However, with Hideyoshi as the new acting CEO of his family's company, he took a different approach to doing collaborations with other toy competitors rather than doing shady business deals with them. At least this way, both parties got what they want by the time the deal came to its end. He'd always had a love for visiting beautiful countries around the world and France was no different. He'd met Chanel in Paris and what started out as a business meeting turned into something more between the two of them. Chanel found the man to be quite charming and wanted to learn more about him. It wasn't long after that the two began dating, they rushed quickly into marriage on spontaneous feelings of love and lust. The two did love each other mutually but they had different dreams. Chanel still wanted to create dolls for children all over the world but she also wanted to have a family too. She was willing to take time off from her job so she would be able to raise a family.

Hideyoshi however, wasn't ready for a family. In fact, he believed that he wouldn't be a good father and didn't see himself as father material because of the lack of parental guidance and love in his life which caused him to lose faith in himself to build a family of his own. He had no choice in the matter to be ready for it when Chanel told him that she was pregnant. He was shocked as well as frightened but he loved his wife and didn't want her to leave him because of his own insecurities. He promised her he'd work on them for the sake of their child. In turn, he'd also take time off from his job to prepare for the birth of their child. Nine months later, their only daughter Catherine was born and they both did their best to raise her even though it wasn't something that was easy. Raising children isn't easy. Catherine was a happy and yet handful of a child. There was no mistaking that she belonged to her parents because she displayed such obvious features from both of them. With her mother's pale skin and green eyes along with her father's hair and bad eyesight as she had to eventually ended up wearing glasses at the age of three. Catherine didn't like them because she didn't want to be teased for having to wear them but her parents did their best to assure her that she liked fine with glasses on. She didn't accept this but rather tolerated it despite her parents' comfort.

As she became older, Catherine began showing many different traits such as a high level of intelligence which didn't appear to come from either of her parents but most likely someone within their families who were possibly highly intelligent and they weren't aware of their existence. She was actually smarter than children that were of her own age group and picked on and avoided because of it. She didn't understand why this was such a big deal to people. Catherine never displayed any actions or stated that she felt that she was better than her classmates because of her wide knowledge but they took it that way. Girls found her to be boring and boys thought of her as a smart weirdo with "ugly hair and glasses". There wasn't a day she never went home crying her eyes out because of the kids at school picking on her. It was by age twelve that she'd presented as an Alpha which only made partial sense that she didn't connect with a lot of other girls her age. She grew up in Paris, France up until the age of fifteen when her parents decide to relocate to Tokyo, Japan where Hideyoshi can be able to fully manage his family's toy business. Although Chanel hadn't wanted to move, she did see it as a business opportunity and a chance to start back making more dolls again. And this was based on her knowledge of not just what little girls around the world would want but also because her own daughter loved her dolls too.

So the move was agreed to and it wasn't as if Catherine was going to object to it based on the simple fact that she hated the school she attended. She didn't feel like she was being challenged academically and through all her years of research, she knew that Japan had some of the best schools known to man. A school was a school that would always be filled with idiotic bullies but at least she could feel like she belonged somewhere without being verbally tortured on a daily basis with insults. This caused her to not be able to easily trust others based on past experiences. The move to Japan wasn't easy but it was successful. Since Catherine was able to take care of herself, her parents went back to focusing on their careers, which meant they spent less time at home than they did with their own daughter. So, Catherine used their absence as a way to get into other things like video games and cosplaying. She was really good at playing video games but always found them boring when she had no one to play with and she had all the best-known games that have ever come out on both PlayStation and Xbox. She also has two closets, one for regular clothes and one for random costumes she feels like wearing. Granted she never wore them outside of the house but being the recluse she was at the time it helped to ease her boredom and her loneliness a little bit by pretending to be different people in different outfits. These things she kept to herself whenever she attended school. Catherine is a student at Hakoniwa Academy, which was a public co-ed high school. Instead of being noticed and bullied on a daily basis, she was hardly ever noticed by her classmates. If she were acknowledged, it would be someone occasionally wondering if she was a new girl when she's been in class with them for the entire semester but they failed to notice her because they were too busy paying attention to other things and people.

So she mostly faded into the background being unnoticed unless she decided to speak. And being a Nekomimi like her mother, she found comfort being surrounded by stray cats she found which both surprised and terrified at this discovery. The cats she collected followed every order Catherine would give them and would attack if need bit. She even started honing her cat-like skills such as her ability of stealth which she uses mostly to break into the homes of students who are downright cruel to other students and destroy their original wardrobe and replace it with hideous clothing designs and other cat-like habits such as increased speed, flexibility, and agility. All of these are things she keeps to herself even though many are suspicious of many different "cat burglar" incidents that have happened even though nothing was stolen, just destroyed. Her various habits could've gotten her locked up ages ago which is why she tries to be as careful as possible not to alarm her parents any more than she already has. Catherine hates dogs and prefers cats over them any day. She even finds dog people to be unbearable to be around because they smell just like their dogs. The only semi-normal thing about Catherine is that she actually does have a crush on someone. A boy from her class named Usegi Tsukishino. He is out of all their classmates the only one that's actually noticed her existence and doesn't assume every time that she speaks to him that she is the new girl when she's been in class every day for an entire semester. As well as knowing that she's the only one in their class that makes higher marks on all assignments. However, he is hardly her intellectual equal which she's chosen to ignore due to the simple fact that he is nice to her.

He has told her that he finds her a bit weird at times, this is mainly because she hardly takes to their other classmates and because they often tend to forget she exists. Despite that, he was willing to be friends with her, not even caring that she was an Alpha either. This made her happy. Though this only lasted up until about their tenth year when Catherine began to notice their teacher's scent always on him. She wasn't stupid by a long shot and therefore knew that Usegi had found himself a mate. It may have saddened her a little since she was just getting to know him and was going to confess her feelings but it was too late. Catherine may have accepted the idea of Usegi having a mate, but that doesn't mean she particularly likes it. No one really knows or pays attention to things the way she does and therefore she believes herself to be the only one that knows this. That said, whenever she randomly hisses at their teacher, she usually plays off the reason being related to something else. This is because she wants to remain friends with Usegi since she doesn't want to feel alone again. As graduation has come and gone, she feels saddened that she won't be able to see Usegi regularly like before.

Eventually, he came out and told everyone of his relationship with Sousuke which Catherine had accepted. It still hurt but she knew she would be okay and that Usegi would be okay as well. He was happy and that's all that mattered to her. Her friend was happy, even if it wasn't with her. They see each other from time to time, but again, not as often as they used to. Especially since Catherine had begun attending university at Kaibara. As expected, she'd decided to work with her mother as a doll maker. At least testing out the ideas related to the outfits she wanted to make for actual people. She could at least use dolls as a test to see how well the outfits she wanted to create would come out. Catherine wanted to make apparel for cosplay purposes that everyone can have fun wearing for conventions, parties, and even Halloween. That's where Catherine's mind and desires had gone. However, she didn't write her mother off completely and she agreed to work for her, even though now, she doesn't care much for the attention. Having gotten used to being ignored frequently by her former peers and seen as a new student, now she is more recognized due to her family connections. Never before, had she ever thought she'd dislike being the center of attention. And when she feels like it's too much, she finds a place to hide to be alone.

This worries her mother who wants the best for her daughter who often fought to be acknowledged and accepted. Now she is weary her daughter may become reclusive and alone, Catherine's mother thought it best that maybe it wouldn't be so bad to introduce her daughter to the many families that she's friends with in hopes that maybe she'll connect with someone. Catherine hated this, and protested it vocally, stating she didn't want to do it. She's been down that road once and doesn't want to put her heart out there again only for it to be crushed. It was clear to Catherine, her mother was trying to set her up but she immediately put a stop to that by telling the woman, that isn't someone she wants or is looking for. Even if she can't ignore her biological needs for she will have to find a mate, she'd rather it not be through the actions of it being arranged. If her parents could fall in love on their own together, then that's what Catherine wanted. She expressed this to her mother. It made her feel bad but she accepted that it was what her daughter wanted and was in full support of her decision. So now, Catherine's focus is still on school, trying and struggling to embrace her current life as a university student and working alongside her mother making dolls, trying to get a full understanding of art and design so she won't fail and not give up on the decision she made for herself.
