Powers/Abilities:Silent Grave - Death existed when the first living creature was brought to life. In the beginning, Thanatos held the fine line between living and ceasing to exist in his hands. It wouldn’t be until some time in the unrecorded life histories that he would need help retrieving the souls of the mortal population. Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods, became the first Psychopomp, but soon he too would be overwhelmed as his messenger duties became more important. Charon could only ferry the souls to their designated locations but could not leave the afterlife realms. With no valuable option left, Thanatos recruited certain individuals as Psychopomps to travel the world to collect the souls. These would be the mentors and set the playbook in motion for what it meant to be a Psychopomp. But what does it mean to be a Psychopomp? Literally meaning guide of souls in Greek, they are often seen as spirits, angels, deities, or creations depending on the religion. They do not judge the deceased but can remark on the soul if they’ve witnessed a critical moment that may alter the soul’s afterlife fate. To those close to dying, Psychopomps may appear as something else entirely to help ease the person’s suffering. Special units within the Psychopomps are led by various religious entities using psynoems to prevent spiritual conflicts. Under the command of Banshee, Momoka, and Shamil lead their own mission in locating and securing one Hermenegildo Santos, or Quetzalcoatl as he is better known. Each has their own unique weapons and special permission to capture Quetzalcoatl, even if it means disobeying the ultimate being themselves, Chaos.
Psychopomp Physiology - As a Psychopomp, Momoka can access certain realms off-limits to supernatural creatures and even deities. Her phone is connected to a network allowing her to send messages, receive phone calls and even browse the internet (though it’s frowned upon though no one says anything). The special network allows Psychopomps to look up everyone that is alive with their death date, cause of death, and more. Special tags indicate if the person is ‘Off Limits,’ ‘Special Contract,’ or ‘Waiting for Approval.’ The phone will not work in some areas, meaning no one willingly ventures to these areas without good reason. Momoka can teleport anywhere she needs to go, but now, her jurisdiction lies on Earth, given that it’s her home planet. Sometimes she’ll ask Shamil if they can ride his bike to a location rather than teleport. She can sense death and even see a clock above people’s heads, signaling how long they have left to live. Additionally, Momoka can see ghosts, and she ignores them as another department handles ghosts and possessions. Psychopomps can switch between being physical (appearing alive) and disappearing (appearing dead). Psychopomps receive special training to ensure they can compete with targets who aren’t human. Momoka isn’t physically strong but makes up for it with stealth, range fighting using her Reaper Gun, dexterity, and survivability. While the last one seems silly, Banshee has commented that due to Momoka’s inability to live while alive, in death, her Psychopomp abilities truly manifest in receiving intense and horrific damages without succumbing to them, whereas others would have fallen. While Momoka is still capable of dying, her medical history indicates that she’s entered the medical ward to receive treatments for burns, knife and gun wounds, poison, and more. She’s had to regrow several limbs after being eaten or hacked off by a target.
Gun Proficiency - Momoka received special permission to train and handle the Reaper Gun - a special firearm capable of killing supernatural and weak deities should their time be up. Her accuracy and precision are near one hundred percent, with a quick draw to hopefully eliminate her target before it can attack her.
Personality: Momoka is a neutral person by nature. Her short life as a sickly human and a member of the Saitō family gave her a different type of struggle. Unable to train to become an assassin, Momoka was often confined to her bed and had slept half her human life away, recovering from an unknown illness preventing her from interacting with others. The toll taken on her Omega father’s body from constant pregnancies resulted in Momoka’s weak constitution and fragile state. For a long time, Momoka detested Masashi, Mao, and Miyako, along with their Alpha mother, Tsubaki. Only in death did she release all the anger and no longer let it take control of her. Born mute, Momoka generally responds in nods, shaking her head, or shrugs when answering questions. Though fluent in all forms of sign language, she doesn’t care to make conversations with others not worth her time. If someone can gain her trust, she slowly opens up, and if offered a sip from her flask, she sees you as a friend. That being said, Momoka is known throughout the agency as a heavy drinker and challenges anyone to a contest, particularly new Agents who aren’t prepared.
In terms of love and dating, Momoka has yet to succeed. She finds herself in a constant state of miscommunication with others. In past relationships, those she dated tended to see her muteness as a hindrance and her obsession with alcohol to be one of self-destruction. In a way, they are correct. Given her life history, Momoka struggles to form meaningful and loving relationships as she experiences endless love from her father, Shingo, Minoru, and Masahiko. The only female companionship she received was with a cousin from a lower-ranked Saito family branch. As young children, they would play (as well as Momoka could) and spend many nights exchanging stories and dreams of what they would do when they became adults. As a Psychopomp, Momoka has a second chance at enjoying what life and death have to offer. With the Book of Death engraved into her mind, she stands by Death’s side with a fierce loyalty that cannot be matched.
Politics, race, sexual orientation, nationality - none of it matters. Ultimately, everyone is just flesh and bone that will succumb to the rebirth stage. Even if she’s assigned to take one of her sibling’s souls to the afterlife, she will do so without hesitation. Her relationship with Shamil is one of mentoring love. Though the two differ, Momoka saw Shamil’s potential even as he entered World’s End with little love for Thanatos or the agency. Going to bat for him, Momoka did everything she could to keep him there until his hate vanished after bonding with Thanatos. It wasn’t hard to guess that Momoka wanted to mentor Shamil once he graduated, and no other Agent fought with her about it. Though they haven’t spent much time together, Momoka trains Shamil on being death’s assistant in the field and the inner workings of a Psychopomp. When the day comes, he’ll transition as one. The two will sometimes talk of those dark times where anger fueled them and how they feel lighter now that it’s gone. There are occasions when the two argue, but Momoka would never abandon Shamil and gladly take a bullet for him.

Face Claim: Jormungand - Sofia Valmet
Appearance: Momoka is a fairly tall woman with pale skin, black hair, and light yellow eyes. Her hair is usually presented in hime-style and is shoulder length. She wears a white eye patch over her missing right eye. Momoka's frame is slender, with a slim waist, flared hips, taut buttocks, and broad shoulders. She also sports a well-toned and lightly muscular build. At the same time, she is considered very attractive with a curvaceous and developed figure with well-endowed breasts. She can usually be seen wearing a suit all the time but can dress casually and wear combat camo pants with steel-toed boots and a crop top.
Momoka IHistory: Momoka Saito was the youngest child of the Saito siblings and greatly differs from the others. Due to her Omega father Shingo's constant pregnancies, Momoka was born premature, and it was assumed she would die days after her birth. By the grace of science and medicine, Momoka survived infancy but continued to suffer from various illnesses that plagued her until her death. One of which is an undocumented disease that would eventually take her life. Her Alpha mother, Tsubaki, refused to allow clinical trials and in-depth analysis into this disease for fear that the main branch family would not only become more recognizable in society but also refused to be seen as lesser along with the other branch families. As such, Momoka would suffer silently with only prayer and simple medicines to help her ailments. Shingo was completely against this but could not persuade Tsubaki to change her stance. With his role in the branch family and his pairing with Tsubaki only being reduced to that of a house husband and taking care of the children he gave birth to, Shingo wasn't allowed to voice his opinions despite wanting to. But he cared deeply for his children, especially Momoka. Momoka was bedridden and sleeping the days away for most of her life. On days when she had energy, she played with her cousin Nana Saito from a lower branch of the family, who visited as often as she could as Momoka was allowed to be a child and be socialized with other members of the Saito family. Of course, this didn't last long because the rift between other branches of the family would force the young girls apart, never seeing each other again. Momoka knew she wouldn't live to see past twenty, but it would've sunk her into a deep depression if it wasn't for her elder brothers, Minoru and Masahiko. The two would sneak Momoka out of the house, and the trio would go on adventures throughout the city, though oftentimes, they would get into trouble. This didn't stop them from closely bonding with one another, and this bond would remain even after her eventual death.
When Momoka came of age to start school, it became obvious she struggled with her academics. She was found to be dyslexic and a slow reader who could not match the pace expected of children in Japan. She was placed in a special class where she was assisted in her studies. Her learning disabilities are what caused her to be held back several times on top of her physical illnesses, making her absent a lot from school. Eventually, Tsubaki pulled her out of school indefinitely, listing her illness as the reason. Tsubaki showed no love or concern for Momoka as she did her older children and didn't care that she inflicted mental and emotional damage on her daughter. She only received parental love from her father, Shingo, who did everything he could to make up for the love Tsubaki wasn't giving her. Momoka convinced herself that this was enough. It wasn't surprising that she presented as a Beta, unlike the rest of her siblings, who presented as Alphas or Omegas. Tsubaki clearly wasn't happy about this, but Momoka couldn't have been happier because it meant that she wouldn't have any expectations set on her. Momoka realized this, making her feel bad for her older siblings. She knew they wanted to live their lives how they wanted, but instead, they were thrust with the heavy responsibility of being assassins. It almost felt unfair that she was not only sick, but she didn't have to go through the trials and training her siblings did. Part of her believed they would resent her for it, but Minoru and Masahiko would assure her that this wasn't the case. It made Momoka happy to hear that. Their family wasn't perfect, but it made her happy that her father and her siblings showed love and concern for her when they could. But things would change for their family on the eve of her older sister Miyako's wedding. Momoka was fifteen when this event took place. She thought she wouldn't be allowed to see her big sister get married, but she was happy she was allowed to as long as she was constantly under constant watch in case anything happened to her. The ceremony was beautiful, but Momoka could not handle the scent of the heavy floral decorations everywhere and needed to be escorted out for a while to regain her ability to breathe without coughing.
Minoru and Masahiko tended to Momoka. This was a blessing in disguise because it saved the three of them from dying. Concerning sounds were heard coming from the dinner hall, and when Minoru went back to check and see what was wrong, he was the one to witness Miyako's mental breakdown. It wasn't safe to stick around the scene of lifeless bodies. He, along with Masahiko and Momoka, fled to Oshima Island. They believed to have escaped to avoid being killed out of retaliation for what Miyako had done, but they would soon find out they were wrong. Masahiko's scent found its way to the noses of the Mihara Yakuza, who recognized the siblings without realizing it. Momoka and her brothers were living in hiding. She did what she could around the small home they took shelter in while Minoru trafficked drugs and weapons to other countries, and Masahiko could only find work that involved selling his body. They did what they could to bring in money so they could survive and protect their sister. As Momoka predicted, she didn't live past the age of twenty. The last four years of her life resulted in a lack of proper medication that did nothing more than wreak havoc on her health, which left her bedridden entirely. Unlike most in her situation, Momoka wasn't scared to die anymore. She had accepted her fate. The only thing that made her happy was that she was with her brother during her last moments. However, she didn't die under normal circumstances. She and Masahiko were kidnapped by the Mihara Yakuza group for ransom and taken to Mount Mihara. It is here Momoka's health took a turn for the worst, and Masahiko was nearing his Heat. Their kidnappers did not care at all about their conditions, and they found Masahiko more useful than Momoka. But they were saved by a woman named Narcissa Ardelean. She killed the guards who were given the order to watch the siblings and make sure they didn't escape, and she spared the lives of Momoka and Masahiko. Masahiko shielded Momoka from seeing such a horrific scene and kept her from the view of this strange woman.
But they weren't alone. Unknown to Momoka and Masahiko, there was someone else lurking in the room that they wouldn't have been able to see, but Narcissa could. This "person" was a Psychopomp with the code name Banshee who was waiting for Momoka to die to guide her to the afterlife. Narcissa had a contract with the one the Banshee worked for and knew what was to come. She could sense the fear and see Masahiko's protection for Momoka. So she struck a deal with him. She told him her name and that she was a noble vampire who wanted an heir of her own. She found no one satisfying enough to mate with and found this to be an easier way than having a mate to have a child. Masahiko only had to pledge his life to her in exchange for saving his sister's soul. Otherwise, she was going to die. Of course, Masahiko agrees. Banshee reveals itself to the group, not saying anything. Narcissa just handed them a bag filled with unknown items that weren't enough to complete the agreement. There were no questions asked. Masahiko just wanted his sister to be saved. This would also mark the last time the two siblings would see each other until over a decade later. Momoka was taken to World's End, where her sickly body would transform into one capable of supernatural fighting and more. Momoka had great difficulty understanding everything around her. She believed herself to have been used as a sacrificial lamb, but this was not the case. She was dead yet alive and healed of her illnesses. Banshee calmly explained everything and knew it would take time for Momoka to accept her new position. While training to become an Agent of Death or Psychopomp, Momoka felt she was reborn into a life where she could not control her destiny. Taking solace in alcohol, she was often seen at bars drinking her sorrows away. During one of her nightly binges, she ended up getting into a fight, causing her to lose her right eye. Banshee forbade it from being regrown, stating that Momoka needed to grow up and learn from her mistakes. Banshee and Momoka fought in the hospital room, ending with Banshee winning. The fight knocked some sense into her, and Momoka changed from that point forward.
Still dyslexic and a slow reader, Momoka studied the Death Code religiously. Though she no longer possessed a right eye, Momoka left the eyepatch over it and kept it as a reminder of her previous actions and emotions. She goes to a therapist once a week to face her past and feelings head-on and joyously overcome them. Momoka continues to drink too much alcohol, and it's a constant conservation in therapy to decrease the amount she's drinking. Even so, many Agents wonder if she's able to maintain a not-quite-top physique but close enough to battle supernatural creatures who eat Psychopomps. Banshee theorizes that the fight triggered Momoka's survivability ability that enhances with each battle. After graduating in the top 5, Momoka received her Death Certificate, becoming an official Psychopomp. Banshee continued to mentor her for the next ten Earth years and pushed the woman's boundaries. Momoka and Banshee were given S-Rank missions, often unsure if either would come back alive. Yet, the team proved time and time again that their strong bond and skills ensured the mission would be complete; nonetheless, both had dragged themselves into the medical ward to receive care as their wounds were more often than not life-threatening. Eventually, a time came when both had to separate as Banshee became head of the G-Division and wasn't required to do field work anymore. Momoka went on solo missions for a short time, and though she was successful, she missed having a companion. The time in therapy indicated that having someone nearby kept her in check as she would slip back into heavy drinking. Thankfully, she caught sight of Shamil Omarov - one of Thanatos' children. It was easy for Momoka to see and understand the hatred looming inside of him, and she felt a kinship with him despite Shamil not knowing who she was. She kept a close eye on him and advocated for him when there were discussions of having him removed from becoming death's assistant. Shamil could turn his life around like Momoka had so long ago, and he graduated with his own Death Certificate. Momoka quickly took him under her wing to train him, much like Banshee had with her.
Shamil and Momoka went on several missions showcasing their teamwork (that is constantly in need of work, but no one else will remark on it) and skillset. Banshee promoted them to G-Division and assigned them to Tokyo, Japan, where their first mission was to locate and take down a man named Hermenegildo Santos, or Quetzalcoatl. They accepted the mission without complaints and secured a room at the Amestia Inn together, where they not only rest but plan how to handle their missions before going into the field. They have no doubt their downstairs neighbors on the first floor of the inn hate them on top of the cleaning staff who come to clean their room when they request it, as the two tend to be loud, messy, and awake at all hours of the night but despite all that, they work together to get the job done. Momoka doesn't know if she'll ever see any of her siblings again, but she does wonder what they're up to now and how they're doing. She avoids going to see her parents at all costs and visiting the main branch home. She'll always love her father, but her hatred for her mother runs deep. She knows once that woman finds out what she is now, she will no doubt attempt to use her for her own means for the family's sake. Something she doesn't want. It's why she avoids bringing up her family when around Shamil. Despite worrying about her siblings, Momoka focuses on her missions.
