It was a relief to Sho that Yuuto wasn't upset with him regarding everything that happened this afternoon. He's so used to people being upset with him regarding his situation of "mating" that he comes to expect being chastised. It still feels strange not to be. His new doctor wasn't even upset with him when he'd told him about what happened with Austin and he was thankful for that. It'd at least allowed him to be able to open up more to his new doctor and not focus so much on the fact that the man was an Alpha. His second time seeing him was quite a while after he'd gotten used to having Austin as a friend and he wasn't riddled with so much anxiety that he couldn't be in the same room with someone who was an Alpha now. Now it's only when one poses a threat to him that his anxiety flares up and he reacts in a violent nature to escape from them. Compared to before, Sho has come a long way in that regard.

But things were different now. Now he was having to come face to face with his past and the person that caused him to form a distrust towards Alphas. Sure, he may want to work things out, work past what happened but for Sho that was going to take some time. As he'd told him. Including now where the other male had told him to address him informally by his name, causing the green-eyed young man to shift his gaze once again and lightly rub his hand up and down his arm awkwardly. He couldn't bring himself to call Yuuto by his name. The only reason he'd done so last time was out of emotion and he hadn't even realized until later that he was even doing it. He'd quickly switched back to address the other formally by his current surname because, for the time being, it made sense. Plus, that wall was still there. But there was a strange part of him that wanted to oblige that offer but Sho was fighting against it. More so when asked if he was in Heat, causing him to flinch as his cheeks flared up in color at that question. Even if Yuuto stated he didn't mean to pry, it still felt like that's what he was doing by asking him that question.

"Post Heat. For some reason, my scent has always been strongest during and after my Heat. It's kind of ... a nuisance if I'm being honest," Sho admitted while being confused as to why he even gave Yuuto that much information regarding that. He then raised his hand to cough into his fist, glad for the change of subject from that to asking if he needed something else like water and what he wanted to do regarding his comic. "Water is fine," he told him, "as for my comic, I owe you for today since I inconvenienced you by having to be brought all the way to your apartment. So, um, I'll agree to let you ... work on the remaining pages that need to be finished as a thank you for today. I'll figure out what to pay you later. My mind ... can't really focus on that part right now." Sho wanted to get that part out of the way and he wasn't lying telling him this. He'd have to work out a form of paying the other male later but he'd always get that money back once readers would see the chapters were available to be read and pay for them and the money was split between him and the artist he had. He always made sure to split the earnings. He may be the one writing the story but the main staple of the work came from the artist as well and Sho liked acknowledging that and encouraging his readers to acknowledge the work they put in too.
