	Ami Mizuno is a shy young woman who doesn't make friends easily and tends to prefer to be alone with her books instead as she feels that books don't judge her the way people do with each other. During her free time, her head is always in a book, whether it's a novel or a medical book where she's studying as much as she possibly can in order to do her job properly. Ami works at the Andros Hospital as a Pediatrician. She's also an on-call trauma doctor when her mother requests her help as she also works at the hospital as well. Many of her peers mistake her withdrawn nature for arrogance and tend to either not approach her or mock her behind her back. She'd be lying to say that it never bothers her because it does but she doesn't show her emotions when around others. In fact, she keeps them to herself since she's accepted that because she's also a Beta, she'll never have the life that many around her desire. To find a mate and be happy. So she keeps her head and time buried into her work. She desires to make friends but doesn't know how to get them to see past her intelligence and get to know her as a person. She does hope for it to change someday.


	Ami isn't someone that's hard to get to know. However, her former peers in school and current coworkers at the hospital are often intimidated by her intelligence. It makes them unable to want to try to befriend her because they believe she'll make them feel stupid just because she's smarter than they are. They'd prefer not to waste their time being around someone that would act like they're better than they are because they know any and everything. This isn't the case with Ami. She would love to have some friends because deep down, she feels alone all the time but finds herself unable to admit this to anyone except for her mother. Anyone wanting to be friends with her would have to be someone understanding of her strong desire to learn and understand the things around her as well as being able to overlook her intelligence. They have to see that she is just a person who wants to form a solid friendship. Since we're not including the lore of Sailor Moon onto the forum (thank fucking god), I'd rather Ami have some friends outside of the characters from the series. She needs to make friends will people that will help her get out more and not be so shy. I don't mind it if people want to make characters that work at the hospital to reflect this. That's fine. It's not a necessity though. Ami works with being friends with anyone as long as they aren't making her feel like shit for being smart and using her mother as an excuse behind their reasons for not wanting to engage in conversation with her. I may or may not make the male counterpart of her but I need a proper idea for that to work so she can at least have an already implied friend. But the door is open to anyone that wants to be friends with Ami.


	The door to this area isn't going to be as open. Mainly because of plots from the past that ruined the character before I ended up taking it over and having to fix it due to that older player from years ago being a complete mental case. -_-; sighs heavily There will be no repeat of stupid with Ami's love life. I won't get into details, it's not necessary but to at least understand what I am not looking for is a pairing between her and Seto Kaiba. That is not something I'm looking for nor do I want it. That was something an old player did, turned the character evil, and putting their personal feelings into the RP that just ruined everything. If I'm being honest, I don't think the idea of Ami and Seto as mates works. The only thing they share in common is being intelligent. And it doesn't make sense for Ami to stalk him simply because she is interested in his intelligence. That's completely out of character for her. But it happened and I don't want it. I felt that her being paired with Raito Yagami at one point but I am not expecting that here. If anyone is interested in her, she wouldn't take much notice of it as this version of Ami has accepted that she will not find a mate and have a family. It'd take a lot of convincing for someone to show her that she doesn't have to "settle" for not being with anyone simply because she is a Beta. And she is straight so I've no plans on making her a lesbian either. If someone presents me with a romantic idea that's worth exploring, I'm not against having our characters interact and see if they hit it off. If they don't, I'm not going to force it. With Ami being shy like she is, her mind wouldn't be on the idea of love at all as it would be for other characters. Just her work. Putting in the effort is key so please don't present a garbage character to me.


	Ami isn't someone that's a fighter. She has a pacifist's heart and doesn't wish to harm anyone in any way. So I don't see her getting involved in any supernatural-related battles where characters have powers and are fighting for whatever reason. I'm not against the idea of her getting involved, but it just has to be an idea that works because I don't want Ami getting involved in something for nothing. Reasons are needed. As for rivals and people being jealous of her in her workplace, that's probably what this area would be more for. Rivals who are sore about how successful Ami is in her work and they feel as if they aren't getting any recognition for what they do. This is something I can definitely see and it'd be interesting to play out. Ami isn't someone that likes conflict so it'd be interesting to play her trying to overcome it on her own without being tied to the other Sailor Guardian characters.
