Kae was a long way from home. Why? Because of the simple fact that he was trying to avoid lessons today. It was enough that he attended school just to continue receiving an education. That itself wasn't the problem. The problem in question was learning more things about the vampire world while integrating himself amongst humans. Given that the world he lived in, there were more than just humans that existed, he was wondering why he need to learn all of this. He used to be human. He knows what it's like to in a sense be an outcast or misjudged based on minor details about someone. That was his life before becoming a vampire. More so now that he is one. People may not be on the fence about non-humans but there will always be some that would still take precautions. For that, it's why Kae never made it known that he ever became a vampire to his peers and teachers.

Besides, his situation was a little more complicated compared to others that are placed in his situation but Kae never thought all that much about other individuals who were turned into vampires. If anything, he just remained quiet and did as he was told as long as he could also do what he wanted. He still disliked the idea that his mother became a servant in the Valentine home but with the family still being targeted because of their daughter's actions despite her giving up her own life to protect them all, it wouldn't be wise for his mother to be left alone. But he's at least happy she's safe and alive. For the most part, Kae's days felt lifeless and boring, and to be around other vampires who constantly call themselves "creatures" was rather irritating for him. Creatures. Such an ugly word. Deep down Kae always felt that vampires were still people too. To him at least. But such reminders were a headache to think about. As of right now, Kae was perched under a shaded tree in the park with his hood over his head, sleeping.

He'd also brought his guitar with him in case he got bored but as it was, he just felt like sleeping in the shade while there weren't many people out and about this time of day. It wasn't snowing today. In fact, it was quite sunny outside despite the cold temperatures. The weather wasn't a bother in terms of it being too terrible to go out. No, it's only a bother if Kae got too cold. It's why he made sure to bundle up before heading out. Considering the fact that he doesn't and refuses to feed on people, he knew he was more susceptible to weather like this. Blood tablets weren't satisfying but Kae preferred them over harming anyone. He'd made sure to take a few before leaving and pack some with him before coming out to the park. With it being the holidays still around, the new year creeping in rather fast, he didn't find it surprising at all that the park was quiet today. So that made relaxing under the tree a lot easier. With his arm placed over his stomach and hood covering his face, the only sounds that could be heard coming from him were soft snoring.
