An Evening to Unwind (Open)

Being someone that never traveled far into the city at night, Milly had decided to check out the nightlife to elevate her boredom by having some fun. She'd invited Shirley to come with her but she wasn't interested in the idea of going to a club late at night but as a friend, she warned her to be careful. So Milly didn't push her, appreciated her worrying about her well-being but assured her that she'd be fine. But she ventured out on her own. She could use the change of scenery besides being cooped up in her room at home or hanging out late on the university campus. Sure, she had her work cut out for her given her position, what was required of her, on top of keeping her grades up but she didn't want to lose her sense of fun. Thus, her reason for being here tonight. Her parents didn't know she was here but she was an adult and didn't have to inform them she was going somewhere as if she was a child. Felt rather insulting. It helped to talk to her grandfather who was a lot more understanding about her woes compared to her parents.

She quickly shook her head, pushing back all the bad thoughts as she walked toward the entrance of Club Skye. It was a very popular nightclub that everyone at Kaibara University knew about. This would be Milly's first time coming here, mainly out of curiosity and boredom. More the latter. She wore the appropriate black dress for the occasion that hugged the curves of her body. Since it didn't have sleeves, she wore a sheer lace jacket to go with it. It was a mixture of class and late-night attire. She wasn't trying to go trash but wasn't trying to dress over the top either. Just a young woman out wanting to have some fun. It wasn't hard to put something together to wear that worked but she did. Once she approached the bouncer, she flashed her ID and was allowed inside once it'd been checked. Upon entering, upbeat fast music was playing. There were people out on the floor dancing, others at the bar, sitting at the tables or off on the other side of the club where the pool tables were located.

Seeing the pool tables, her lips formed into a smile as she made her way across the crowd towards the area. There was at least a couple of tables that didn't have anyone playing on them already and she thought she'd try and get in a little self game before anyone asked to either join her or want to use the table. She combed her fingers through her hair as she placed her purse on the edge of the pool table, then fixed the balls up into an even triangle and grabbed a pool cue. Those already over there stared at her as she attempted to play a game alone but Milly didn't care if they stared or even noticed that they did. She was just being herself, here to have a little bit of fun. She promised Shirley she wouldn't have too much fun and not end up being able to get back to the dorms and she swore that she wouldn't. At the very least, the blonde would only have a couple of drinks but no more than that. She might've been eager to have fun but not that much fun. As she got into position, she leaned over the table, preparing herself to strike the white ball. Once, twice, she struck the ball and it'd slammed into the others, breaking the triangle they were formed in and scattering them about the table.

"Been a while since I played but I haven't entirely lost my touch," she said with a small laugh, going around the opposite side of the table to position herself to strike the white ball again.
