When you were dealing with assassins or just people in that line of work, it was extremely difficult to trust anyone and until proven otherwise, which again, was easier said than done. You were not to be trusted. Everyone had a motive in one way or another, or rather, at least in their world, it was like that. People liked an array of things but for them and people like them, it was the little things that mattered the most. It made the most difference.

Callidora was literally subject to both physical and emotional abuse daily and what would have broken and or destroyed most people, didn’t destroy him. The torture and other things were also effective, but they made sure to never scar him or bruise him in a way that wouldn’t heal. His beauty was one of his weapons, along with his body and that was what they prized, so they made sure he could always recover. So as far as Callidora was concerned, trusting people were far and few, if there was even the smallest hope, which, he never counted on. People were unpredictable but for the most part, he could always read a room and tell you how people were feeling based on what he looked at.

Regardless, at this moment, there was nothing about trust being built honestly. His dear sister would have to simply hear his story and then decide whether she was willing to believe it. Judging by the reaction she had to him spilling the very small truth that he did speak, he could see the anger that stirred without taking over, and that in itself cleared up one thing at the very least, he wasn’t the only one. His living mother, Hera, was the one he despised more than anything else in the world. He had never been enough even with how perfect he seemed. Guess they all had some trauma. Maybe that was just a family trait.

Callidora was a unique character though. Bold and straightforward to a fault but playful in a sassy manner if he wanted to play the game. Regardless, he wouldn’t give you filler, considering there was always something behind his words if you deigned to seek. Looking forward to a plush both, Callidora had a light wave of his Aura roll over the people in front of him. They were already staring but they parted like the red sea for them to enter, their eyes seemingly hungry as they watched Callidora slip into the booth. His attitude was nonchalant as he moved, no one really knew he just used a power considering he didn’t conjure the full aura to envelope him. It just so happened to always be active and he could pull you into it if he wanted. He was sure Miyako and Ira would either wonder or notice the slight change in this group compared to the others.

He sat in the ‘U’ shaped booth allowing either of them to sit side by side or for them to cover either side. “If it would please you, pick your seats. I don’t mind putting myself at a disadvantage in one aspect.” Even Callidora had the thought of it being risky but he also didn’t have a full fear of life and death. It wasn’t the first time his life could have been in danger, and it wouldn’t be the last. “Let’s not act like we don’t know we’re all dangerous here. Not to mention, I willingly approached you. At least you two trust one another so that is an advantage to this situation.” He wasn’t trying to be a smart ass, but it was a fact, no matter how they looked at it.

This also would allow them a view into his own mind and thought process which was no doubt similar to their own. While he was also forced to be reckoned with, he knew he was dealing with two skilled individuals in their own right.

Taking a second to let that sink in and for them to make their decision, he would allow them to be the first to decide on what the topic of conversation would be. He came here specifically for her, so there was no leaving until he addressed her. She could do what she would with that but he had no plans of dying or stirring drama for no reason. Maybe stir the pot but every time he came into contact with the family the pot would be stirred. " I spoke to a few people and was able to find you. Which in this case was quite fortuitous indeed. It seemed my requests were heard and answered accordingly, despite some......aversion." he'd say cooly as he smiled, giving both a dazzling row of white teeth, his eyes seemingly shining back to Miyako and Ira in the dim light. He was sure they all knew how dangerous this situation was, but that didn't mean it had to be the main issue.

Their assassinations weren't all of their life. They have things they do outside of that, no matter how drilled into them it has been and become. Murderers.....the whole lot of them. It almost looked like a lion asking his prey to come close with their guard down, however, it's not like they weren't ferocious either regardless of his good intentions. It was a risk he was willing to take. He came therefore answers. Answers he was planning to receive.
