Bridget wasn't surprised the name knew his grandfather personally. He didn't know anyone that wasn't familiar with him. At least he didn't have to further explain his relation to the man so that was a plus. Though he was curious as to what his grandfather had done for this man the reason he owed him, however, that was a question for another day. He took his phone back once it'd been handed to him, sliding it back into his pants pocket. He was thrown off by the question of how many fights he'd been in that weren't sparring-related. This had made Bridget flinch and he uncomfortably began rubbing his arm up and down while shifting his gaze away from the large man.
"
I don't ... I've always avoided fighting other people. I don't like confrontation," Bridget admitted. It was clear that Kenji knew nothing about him ahead of time so he knew nothing of the blonde's powers and how he's struggled to keep them under control to avoid hurting people. He didn't want to talk about it. It was an uncomfortable subject for him so unless he was ordered to tell him everything, then he wouldn't. He would only tell him what he felt was important for him to know. Those he's trained under were accepting of this but he couldn't assume this man would be. Every instructor was different after all.
