Yuuri wasn't in the mood for this. It was nearing the end of the month and not only was he dealing with his last round of finals before the semester ended and the summer semester began but his Heat was nearing as well. His grandparents were fully aware of this and yet they decided at the most inconvenient moment to arrange for him to meet with another Alpha suitor they've picked out for him. Only this time, he wasn't meeting them at their home like he usually would. No, for some reason he was meeting them at an amusement park. One, that wasn't his scene, and two, he had no idea what this person would even look like in this sea of people already here today. It's not as if they were going to tell him what this Alpha supposedly looked like as it was within their nature to be secretive at times. In their own way, making sure the young man did what they wanted.

Yuuri was definitely annoyed by that. And it's also why anytime they would send him money, he never spent it. Just dumped it into a separate account so when the time came and they disowned him for any choice he made they didn't care for, he could give it all back to them. So he was just biding his time until that happened. As for this arrangement, he tried to get out of it but his grandparents refused to allow him. Simply because they knew his Heat was nearing which made it all the most sleazy and gross in his mind but again, he wasn't surprised by it at all. They urged him to dress nice and socialize with said Alpha appropriately. That alone made him cringe. He kept it simple, wearing a Chinese-style top with pants and a baseball hat since he was deliberately trying to be unrecognizable to this person.

As for where he was in the park, he was sitting at one of the tables in one of the few food court areas but this one was in the middle of the amusement park and not closer to the entrance. Yuuri wasn't trying to make it that easy to be found. He was already feeling irritated and because of it, he made sure to take some suppressants to keep his Heat from triggering early but also brought extra just in case. The ticket he had was already paid for and the only thing he had to do was show it to the ticketer and he was allowed entrance. He hadn't planned on sticking around for very long. To be fair to whoever it was he was supposed to be meeting, he was giving them an hour to find him. If they didn't, he was going home. It was already hot and humid outside for one and two, he had been getting a few glances from other park-goers that were admiring his appearance.

The young man sighed as he cracked open the book he'd brought with him to read to keep himself occupied while playing the waiting game. He had to bring something to entertain himself while waiting for a complete stranger. He didn't like crowds and he didn't like being the center of attention. Why the hell did his grandparents think this was such a good idea. Yuuri sat there trying to read but his mind was clouded with thoughts of frustration regarding his family. 'I don't want to be here. Coming to an amusement park is something people do with friends or someone they're dating. This isn't a place to go with a complete stranger. God my grandparents are so frustrating,' thought Yuuri as he released a frustrated groan and put his head down on his book.

It's only been twenty minutes and he was already wanting to leave. 'I hope they never find me, whoever this person is. It'll make my day a lot easier. They didn't even give me a specific time to be here other than meet this person in the afternoon. Great. Today is going to be a pain...'

"Go on! It'll be fun!" The call of a joyous tone rang out across the apartment. "Fun is subjective." A chill voice responded before the sound of opening and closing of doors was the only indication that the person left the room. Kasane once again locked the door leading out of her home. She made sure this time to keep her phone and a journal and pen on her. She looked at the note again before calling a taxi to whisk her from the gated apartments to Akiba Amusement Park. She couldn't believe it, she was to apparently meet someone to help her socialize. Was she that much of an oddity that the Randalls thought it necessary to intervene? As Kasane took out her journal, she jotted down how conflicted she was about the whole thing. Nothing about this felt look a good idea, hell, she could count more on why it was bad, especially given what she had to do. Living a double life like that, it pained her as she was both satisfied and not so much with her life. After that embarrassing failure with Yukiyo, Kasane sent in both the tail and a report in a parcel. It was an odd thing to simply mail but Kasane wasn't fond of the idea of heading to Yokai headquarters after such a humiliating defeat. All she was given was this was a young man, he was a bit older than her and her parents wanted him to help her socialize.

It still struck her as horrendously odd this idea was even considered and accepted. But, as usual, Kasane had little say in the matter, in fact, she barely said anything. It was simply added to the collection of disbelief, a bottle building up until it decided to burst. Kasane looked once again at the notes detailing the events to come. The location was an abysmal choice, why would an amusement park be a place to learn to socialize, even more concerning was the idea of so many scents intermingling, how could she not gag at them? The better question was how could she not gag? There was a brief 'look for a well-dressed man; grey hair, grey eyes; fair skin.' note scribbled. It shouldn't be too hard, not many have colors remotely similar to either her or the description she read. It was a trip but it stopped abruptly at the sudden stop furrowed the teen's eyes. The gruff voice asked for ¥8020.27 Yen, or the equivalent of $63 USD. The adopted Randal nodded her head once before pulling a wallet out of her lower right overdress pocket. How she enjoyed having pockets, more convenient than a bag even if it limited how much she could carry.

Once the man was paid, Kasane left the vehicle before moving out of the way. Akiba amusement park. To say she was unamused was an understatement, still, the girl got herself a ticket in and eyes started peering, looking through to see if she caught something. With no luck near the entrance, Kasane searched even deeper in the amusement park. The girl looked at each passerby, covering her nose tightly in hopes of not letting out a dry heave. With each missed person she loathed the idea even more, till she spotted grey hair. Walking near the stranger, but still at a distance enough to keep breathing, she made a soft cant of her head. "Hello, I'm from the Randall family... I'm supposed to meet this Chiba individual, does that family name ring a bell? I'm supposed to learn how to socialize from him."

The noises from the people, the sounds from the rides, it was beginning to get to Yuuri. Forty minutes. The time spent waiting on this person would be over soon. Then he could go home and not be subjected to what he felt like a waste of his time and the time of the Alpha meeting him here. The young man was trying his best to hang in there but it didn't stop a headache from forming. All the scents mixed together from everyone at the park only irritated him as well as made his head hurt. He couldn't get comfortable with his head down so he eventually sat back up, adjusting the baseball hat on his head and closing the book he'd been trying to read but couldn't focus on.

He sighed, reaching into his pocket for his phone to check to see what time it was. It was still pretty early when he'd gotten here and waited as long as he had been shouldn't have made it all that late in the afternoon. Again, his grandparents weren't specific at what time to be here specifically, just to be here in the afternoon to meet this Alpha. Seeing the time turns out he was right. Still early. It was hardly two in the afternoon but it was getting close to it. He narrowed his eyes, staring at the time on his phone before setting it down on the table in front of him. He gave himself a moment before releasing a sigh and rising to his feet. 'This is ridiculous. I refused to be used as a puppet by my grandparents to meet with some suitor Alpha they've found. I'm going home. They can get mad at me later about it,' Yuuri thought in annoyance as he grabbed his phone and book and attempted to leave only to turn around and suddenly come face to face with some young-looking girl who'd approached him.

He blinked in surprise at this since he wasn't expecting it for one and two, he was also annoyed and disappointed to have been found. Judging by her stating his surname, this had to have meant that she was the Alpha he was supposed to meet with. But what she said to him was strange. It wasn't what his grandparents had told him that he was here for. He was here to meet with an Alpha in order to get to know them and possibly become mates while this girl ... was here to learn how to socialize ...? Yuuri gave her a look of confusion, unsure of what to say or how to respond to that. They were clearly here for two different reasons. If he had to guess, her family lied to her just to get her to come here but their intentions may possibly be the same as his grandparents, but they sugarcoated their daughter to be here to learn to socialize. He narrowed his eyes again as he stared at this girl.

'Socialization? That's the worst lie any family would tell their child just to cover up the fact that they were setting them up. This poor girl. Speaking of that ... why does she look so young...' he mentally questioned, not taking his eyes off her. Eventually, after a few moments, Yuuri did break the silence but he felt bad that he had to break the truth to this girl since the reason he was here wasn't the same as her. "Guess I'm who you're looking for. Was hoping I wouldn't be found," he admittedly openly. He coughed into his fist, realizing what he said was rude. He usually wasn't like this but the two of them were clearly duped by their families and it didn't sit well with him. He was used to his grandparents trying to arrange for him to mate with strangers who were Alphas but this girl ... she didn't seem to have much of a clue as to why she was really here.

"I apologize for my rudeness. Feeling rather under the weather so I'm quite irritable, if I'm being honest with you," Yuuri told her, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Your parents ... did they really tell you that's the reason why you were here to meet with me?" he asked. He couldn't help but be curious and wanted to clarify with her that is what her parents told her and he wasn't just assuming the wrong thing. He couldn't tell if she knew anything just by looking at her. She wasn't currently showing any specific body language signs other than stating what family she was from and that she was here to meet with him. Still didn't erase that her introduction felt so off and odd to him.

Kasane waited for an answer from the man. Gently moving her body from side to side as she noted what was around her, both loose and free movement items. If she needed to, she had multiple weapons that she wasn't truly out of weapons, if he so much as made the wrong move out of line, the teen wouldn't hesitate to toss something rather painful to his face. It did cause her to wonder a bit, why was she so trigger happy to anyone but Naomi? What was it about her sister that seemed to quell Kasane where others could not, more so, they frequently aggravate her? Maybe this was needed and she could give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe. The girl was more familiar with fighting and being cross. She was more than shocked at the sudden rise and turn of the man. Triggering a seldom twitch in her arm as she observed him. Silently lifting the chair a few inches off the ground, barely noticeable but still levitating behind him. He looked more surprised than she was which the young Randall didn't understand nor did she really want to as she picked up some dissatisfaction in his face. Locked behind a bland poker face were a thousand reasons for and against expressing dominance.

His scent was like that of chocolate. It was a sharp scent, overpowering, at least to her. She fought every fiber in her body to not gag, it was an unpleasant situation. One she didn't want to be in but one she was in all the same. It was too late now, and to make it really drive her up the wall, he was who she was looking for. It alleviated her somewhat but it was such an unpleasant smell that she just wanted to hit the scent gland. Either hers or his, she wasn't picky with that thought. That confirmation though, she assumed he really didn't want to be found, ergo he didn't want to be here which only aimed to further enforce the idea that all of this was a waste of time. He coughed into a fist and promptly apologized for sounding rude. Kasane blinked and shook her eyes in confusion. What? The girl didn't know what part of what he just said was rude but apparently it was. But what was truly confusing was him blaming him for feeling a little under the weather. If he was sick, he surely hid it well up until now. He inquired if that was really what she was told and the snowy-haired teen wrapped her arms across her chest, slowly and quietly as possible making her ability push down the chair.

The last thing he had to say really made it a good idea she put the chair down. Her red eyes locked onto his greys. "What... what do you mean by that? You're not here to help me?" Kasane doesn't know what's worse, the fact he implied not being of use to her or the fact she really wasted all her time just for that revelation. The girl balled her left hand in a fist as granular debris around her feet began pushing away, even the chair skidded back for a few inches. "Enlighten me... why am I here then?" She was at least getting better at controlling it, keeping the outbursts to a minimum, but, she was still no master at controlling her ability and she doubted this would get any better, she is only just slighted by the implication and already, it wasn't a stellar reaction to say the least.

(OOC: Yuuri's not releasing his scent btw. He's irritated by the mixed scents of others at the amusement park but he's not releasing his own. He is legit irritable because he is nearing his Heat which is similar to any woman nearing their period. If that helps. ^^ Again, Yuuri's not trying to be noticed so he wouldn't voluntarily make himself known to anyone by releasing his scent.)

Yuuri didn't seem so surprised that the girl would display the expression of not liking what he'd said to her. Unless it was something else that bothered her but it wasn't hard to notice her body language now along with her presenting him the question that she had that definitely confirmed she was clueless and had no idea why she was really here. Her family lied to her which was super dirty. The only thing he felt was bad about that but her expressions were super off-putting to him still. Not to mention she was clearly trying to assert her dominance in this position to get a direct answer out of him which he found annoying. Her balled fists, her sharp gaze that kept direct eye contact on him, not to mention the sounds of a chair that suddenly began skidding behind him which distracted his thoughts and caused him to turn around to see a chair being lifted and pushed further away from where they stood along with a small bit of debris, making him blink at surprise at this.

'Are you serious? So this time they basically sent some girl that could possibly kill me if I reject the idea of this interaction? What the hell???' Yuuri thought, turning back around while still displaying the same expression he had earlier along with his eyes still narrowed. From seeing this, she clearly had no control over her emotions which was dangerous around a crowd of people. But he shouldn't have to risk his own life and the lives of others just to associate with this person who he doesn't know for one and two, she was lied to about why she really had to come here. He released another sigh. The young man was taking a risk but he had no choice but to tell her the truth. He personally didn't find it right for the two of them to subject themselves to this outing. And the other reason was he liked being alive. This really wasn't making his own mood any better but he also didn't want to see anyone else hurt either.

"It's not that serious. Calm yourself and turn off your powers before you hurt someone," he told her, steading holding his book and phone in one hand while placing his other hand on his hip. "As for why we're both here, your family clearly lied to you about the reasoning. For that, you need to take it up with them. As for why I'm here, I was told by my grandparents to meet with an Alpha in hopes of becoming this person's "mate" which I can already tell you, I do not want. I've told my grandparents plenty of times I do not like this and they also decided to do this setup around a time I do not wish to be bothered. So to answer your question, no, I am personally not here to help you socialize because that would be lying and I'm not going to stand here and lie to you just to please my idiot family," he explained sternly. How this girl responded to what he'd told her, will be on her but it is terrible to fool someone into doing something that could end up turning into a disaster.

It wasn't the best of first impressions, that was true. The snowy-haired teen was tired of games, of being lied to just to get her to act more 'normal'. To hell with this, to hell with her adopted parents. They knew nothing about her and Naomi would at least know better than to do this. Kasane was for the most part, conflicted this thought was even entertained. She couldn't pinpoint what was more irritating right now, all the mixing scents or the fact she was duped, and now she was here with this guy who she had absolutely no clue about besides what was explained to her in the note. To say she was infuriated was an understatement. But, she felt like her reaction, while justifiable, was still a bit much. However, after a quick turn of his head followed by a calm sigh, it left her in a state of doubt. She did have questions about her own ability and the extent of it, but his sigh kept her attention locked on him. When he told her to calm down as it was not serious, the Randall really wanted to ramp it up, but rationale and logic won as she sighed and unclenched her fist. It took a second before the chair made the small fall to the ground and the debris came still.

Kasane merely observed as his posture shifted, he set in stone her suspicion of being lied to, and he advised her to take it up with her folks. He was set up by his grandparents and told he was to find a mate. The fact he said an Alpha and implied that she was the apparent person didn't sit at all with her. By all that is holy, she was not interested in this person, and if she even was, what can he do, just build her to his liking for a time she is ready? The very thought of it grossed her out beyond belief and she, in a sense, kind of sympathized with him. It was odd, she hated showing emotion or feeling any kind of attachment to anyone but her sister. Reiterating the point that he was not here to help her made her nod in agreement. She brought up her hand to her cheek, trying to think of the next steps. "I'm all for calling it a day, it just wouldn't be logical and it was already pretty pricey to get in. Should we just do something for a bit and we can go back and call it a fluke. Having an alibi is beneficial however if you want to call it, I'm fine with that, we can still call it a fluke."

Kasane made a small cant of her head. "What's your suggestion?"

Yuuri was glad that the girl before him listened, having turned off her powers which made the chair and debris she'd had floating fall to the ground without hurting anyone in the process. Thankfully, it hadn't drawn too much attention their way except for a few that passed by them. One was a child with their family pointing at the floating items excitedly and thinking it was cool while their parents clearly didn't and hurriedly pushed them away and a pair that seemed like a couple or just two friends hanging out. Yuuri wasn't sure, nor did he care but he clearly wasn't deaf and could hear their snickers, and commentary of what was happening was a possible lover's quarrel which made him sigh.

This was anything but that but he wasn't so hell-bent on trying to correct people like others would and just simply let it go. He can't control what people say or think. That's not his job. He may not like the assumptions that people made regarding him but that's all they were. assumptions. Annoying assumptions. As for the girl that stood before him, the young man couldn't help but feel bad that she was told to come here under the impression she was going to be helped in how to socialize with others. That was terrible her family lied to her as she clearly believed it. Her getting upset the way she did showed that and it appeared that's what she really believed she was here for. Yuuri didn't struggle much to socialize with people as long as they weren't trying to shower him with compliments and gifts. He wasn't sure what issues the girl struggled with when attempting to socialize but given that she almost used her powers and dangerously could've hurt someone ... maybe that was why her parents lied to her. They didn't have to lie but they did anyway.

In any case, Yuuri's mood wasn't helping anything. It also sounds like she had to pay out of pocket for a ticket to get into the park whereas he already had a purchased ticket that allowed him to freely get in without paying. 'Her parents could've at least purchased her a ticket instead of having her pay to get in. Ah, well, she's already done it. It doesn't make sense to make her feel bad for having wasted her own money for this falsely established interaction,' Yuuri thought, sliding his hands in his pockets. With that thought in mind, he figured that for the both of them, they could make this work without causing a headache for both of them. She was willing to walk away and not entertain her parents just as he felt the same regarding his grandparents. But his grandparents would go out of their way for him to not have to lift a finger to do anything just for the meetings arranged for him would go smoothly, this girl's family didn't seem to feel the same about that. So he decided to prompt her with another question since she opened the door for him to offer suggestions.

"I have another question for you first," Yuuri started, "Did you really want to learn how to socialize? I'd like for you to answer me honestly with how you feel. Do you need to learn socialization or does your family believe you need to learn it? Depending on your answer will determine any suggestions I will make."

The standoff between the two was not something one would see under normal circumstances, but, if the evidence lined up, this was anything but normal. It could have still been much worse had she fully acted out on her emotions. Having something so dangerous tied to her emotional control was not the most ideal thing. Sure, it benefitted a darker agenda like when she has to hunt down targets for Yokai, it just doesn't translate well to everyday life. It was as if she was born to be a weapon. Kasane was oddly fine with that, but it was why she wants to seek out her biological family if they are still out there, it would protect help her protect those she cared about, by keeping her away from harming them. That was her goal, but, the thought of her leaving her established home would hurt Naomi. It was an intricate conflict she had to deal with and the longer she was in it, the more people it put at risk as well, like the man before her. Domino effects were everywhere and one thing knocked over could lead to a series of consequences not thought of at the moment, while she was aware of the dilemma, she still had a life to live.

So, when the male asked her the question of whether SHE wanted to socialize better, she had to take pause. The benefits and cons were quite obvious to her and people that knew her better than plain acquaintances and the mongrels that plague her school life, she was glad she was graduating, she wanted out so bad. Back to the question, she looked at the ground before back to him. "As you just saw... I'm quick to anger and I honestly don't really... talk to people. Even still... I... I misinterpret a lot." Kasane said the words but she hated what she was saying, it made her look weak and vulnerable. She had to avert her eyes again from him. Kasane blinked again, "I think learning it is better so I don't... ya'know. Is the thought enjoyable, no, but it's necessary given that I'm... not on par for where I should be... whether you help or not is your choice... we're both here not so willingly... A thought to take into consideration... Would the next people I confront be better off with me knowing these 'cues' or would you leave it up to chance?" She didn't directly answer him but the girl believed she gave enough for him to infer and make a decision.

This whole situation could've been avoided if they were told the truth, at least if she was. She wanted to interject and give a direct answer but she didn't want to give off a worse impression than she was already giving.

Based on the response the young girl had given him, Yuuri couldn't disagree with the girl. If he hadn't told her to calm down earlier and tried to explain why the both of them were here or clear up why they were here, she possibly would've destroyed the park out of anger over a misunderstanding that wasn't her fault. Everyone would be lying by saying they never once assumed the worst about someone or a situation before getting clearer information. The same could be said with Yuuri, although he still felt unsettled by this girl. He didn't know why that was. He wasn't assuming the worst, there was just a feeling of uneasiness that he had.

He listened as the girl explained herself more but it would seem she was steady seeking suggestions from him regarding their current situation. Yuuri disliked shouldering the burden of other people's problems. He had enough on his plate regarding his own life. Yet he was somehow always thrown into something by someone else and oftentimes it was the doing of his grandparents. He can easily ignore them and their requests which is what he'd planned on doing originally. But again, he felt bad that this girl had to come out of pocket just to get here and get in whereas he got a free ticket and all he had to do was wait. That didn't seem fair. He wasn't so wrapped up in his own annoyance with his family that he'd think about just himself and his feelings. As she'd finished speaking, Yuuri had a response in mind but he was leaving it up to how she felt. After all, he could stay or go. He didn't really care but if she truly wanted to learn how to be social in a sense, he can for one day accommodate that. This girl would have to want that. He can't make her do it.

"It isn't a decision I can make for you. It's a yes or no question. You confirmed that answer already based on describing how you respond to situations. That said, the following question I have is based on what you want. Do you want to continue this outing and learn how to be social? I cannot answer that question for you. You have to be the one to answer it. A simple yes or no. If you choose not to, we can both go on our way. If you agree to it, then at least the tickets we have won't go to waste. Though I personally feel you came out more than I did as my ticket was free and you had to pay. That part, I don't think it's right you had to do that. To make up for that, I'm willing to stay and help you socialize by just simply enjoying what the amusement park provides as entertainment," Yuuri told her. He meant what he said. The rest was in this girl's hands in what she decides. Once she does, he did realize they were going to have to actually get formally acquainted properly. She did have a name and he would need to at least know that before they proceeded further in trying to partake in the park attractions.

The teen looked across her to the male. For the moment, things were calm and peaceful, it was rather nice, but still an ever-odd sight. People didn't seemingly stand off this long unless some malevolent strife was coming, be it some primordial duel or a bout of angered voices. Kasane was a bit angered, not at the man, but at herself for sounding so weak. She didn't enjoy that nor could she just allow someone to see that side of her, it was a folly to admit such things to a stranger... Maybe that is what made it easier to say. Why was that? Why the hell was it easier to tell a stranger something she would never tell her friends... then again... who could she really call a friend? She couldn't really call that one blonde or Yukiyo one, not after what she's done. The Randall touched the side of her face as she came to a decision. Lowering her hand, she gave a slight nod. "Yeah... we could at least try if you're truly alright with it." The benefits compared to consequence from earlier decided for her. The words she told the man earlier had decided it for her, the girl just had to swallow her pride and go through with it.

"I guess first off... Randall. Kasane Randall is my name. I was adopted so it isn't really a flowy name. I never got your name, well... I did but not from you and only a family name. So, what's yours?" Kasane asked as she tilted her head to the side. She really didn't care, she supposed it was good social practice. But, after that, she had no clue what to do next, and honestly, that might be okay. Not every moment needed to be filled with social cues but it probably wasn't a stellar idea that she was deflated so easy. She made a small gesture of her head, towards the inner of Akiba. "Should we get going or what you want to do?"

Yuuri was surprised the young girl agreed. He was expecting her to be against the idea since she was told to come here under false pretenses. Even if being here at the amusement park wasn't anything either of them pictured doing today, the least they could do was make the most out of it. And given that he didn't know anything about this girl, he couldn't just toss out what they should start out with. So that made it difficult to figure out a game plan of which areas of the park to start with first. Eventually, she had told him his name which was clear to Yuuri he'd never heard of her family. Again, not another surprise for him. He usually didn't make it a thing to socialize with others simply because they came from a family of money. He barely considered himself from such a family since he worked an average job despite being told frequently by his grandparents that if he found a nice "Alpha" to settle down with, he wouldn't have to work at all.

He wouldn't say that isn't untrue but he didn't want to be reduced to the expectation of mating, having children at an early age and staying home to take care of them while his partner worked. That didn't seem right or fair. But that was just a personal opinion of his that he knew a lot wouldn't agree with. The young man wasn't sure if Kasane as the girl had stated her name was had to deal with such a thing with her own family. It's a possibility they may have just wanted her to work on socializing and not actually finding a mate like his own family was doing to him but maybe not. Neither of them will know for sure. Either way, trying to rack his brain with it will only further give him a headache. Since he'd opened up the offer to stick this day out with Kasane, he had to commit to it. He was still a bit unsettled by her due to her displaying her powers earlier.

That feeling wasn't going to go away anytime soon but he could at the very least help her figure out social cues that didn't result to having to use her powers in a violent response. And so, he held out his hand towards the young girl for her to shake it. "I am fine with it as I said. And since you agreed and introduced yourself it is only fair that I do the same," he said with a curt nod as he waited for her to shake his hand if she wanted but he'd introduced himself to her as well. "Boku wa Chiba Yuuri desu," he greeted her formally. "The choice is yours where you want to go but if I am being honest, I didn't grab a map because I hadn't originally planned on staying," Yuuri admitted. That was the truth. Had he planned on staying, he would've grabbed one but that wasn't the original intention. Since he was, they were going to have to grab one so they didn't get lost. Unless of course, Kasane had grabbed one herself to use.

Fully introducing herself without any expectations this time, Kasane was pleased to finally get at least some feedback on social scenario she was now in. Things suddenly felt like foreign territory as he dismissed her worries but things eventually ran alarms as the man held out his hand. The girl nodded as Yuuri made himself known, but the Randall's eyes remained focused on his hand, she wasn't expecting a hand shake. The act was growing more in prominent in business areas, but it has seen a growth being used casually. She raised a hand to her chest and paused again. Um... we aren't making a deal but is... this is a thing? The girl grabbed Yuuri's hand gently but rather than shake it, she just bowed while holding his hand. After a few quick seconds, she postured back up and released his hand. She smiled at Yuuri, it was slightly more genuine, but she wasn't sure if it was the right way to address him. The choice was hers to make but she wasn't sure where or how to start. He asked if she had a map as he stated he didn't get one as he never planned on staying long. The girl nodded her head in denial.

"I didn't get one as I didn't plan on going on rides, I fully assumed that mostly there would just only be talking and the locale was just a favored spot to talk to people. Give me a minute, it's not far from the directory and back." The girl stated as she brought her her fingers to touch her temple on the side of her head. She promptly walked through the crowd, trying her hardest to reach the directory booth, get a map, and get out of there. If it was assumed she was sick in any sorts, people moved just a little further than her, and to an extent she was, annoyed having to walk through even more scents to just get a Damn map. The specific hand placement was meant to quickly release a small burst of her own scent to help create a psuedo-mask to keep from gagging due to all the mixed scents. A hint of irritation was barely on her expression as she retrieved a map and headed back to Yuuri without so much as speaking on the way. It wasn't as terrible compared to being indoors but her sensitivity was a bit more than other Alphas. Using her opposite hand to hold the map as she read it. Pinpointing where they would start from to where everything else, she picked two candidates.

As she finally arrived at the spot Yuuri was, she simply handed him the map. "I don't know what these rides are but there's a spinning tea cup down the right path a little ways in on the left, or a power swing even further down that same path which looks to be on the right. Either of these work, I think." Kasane stated as she tried to look for the start of the path, lowering her arm from her face, using that same limb to point out the start. "If I'm not directionally challenged, think the path starts that way." She turned back to the male. "Care to lead the way?" It worked that way, she picks the location and he leads her, right? "You mentioned feeling under the weather... is that really true or just an answer you prepared to get out of the day with whoever you were really expecting?"

Yuuri blinked in surprise as Kasane took his hand but instead of shaking it, she bowed instead before letting it go. It's not what he was expecting but he'll accept it. He could definitely see that she was very socially awkward. More so than himself. It's not as if he was unable to socialize with others, he just found it difficult to do so when he's fawned over and he finds the obsessiveness in it to be creepy. Kasane's was the opposite. She didn't seem to pick up normal social cues between people all that well. Some see that as a good thing and others don't. It depends on the person and the situations they're placed in. Going to an amusement park was one of those highly socialized outings that were done with friends, families, and couples. Neither fit into that category. They were two strangers here at an amusement park.

Yet, Yuuri was willing to stick it out for a little while to at least allow for the young girl to learn to enjoy herself in such a setting. She'd clearly never to one before while it wouldn't be his first time. He's only ever when whenever his classes had field trips where they would be going to one and everyone split into groups and partake and different activities. This wouldn't be all that different except they wouldn't be going their separate ways. They'd be spending the day together but he will inform his grandparents later to not expect anything out of this day more than what he was willing to do. If Kasane was interested, he was willing to extend an offer of friendship. If not and she just only wanted to learn how to be more social and interact more with others, that was fine with him as well. He stood there waiting as she walked off momentarily to go and get a map of the park so they can properly maneuver their way around it without going in some weird circle where they end up not knowing where the exit was.

It was only a two-minute wait but Kasane returned to where Yuuri was waiting with a map and handed it over to him. He took the map, opened it, and took a moment to look it over. As he'd done that, she'd inquired about what he'd said earlier while his eyes were still on the map trying to decide on where they should start. "A little of both," was Yuuri's response, looking up from the map and over at Kasane. "It's not really a great time for me to be out right now but my grandparents are creepy and are pushing for me to find a mate and they always seem to do it when it's close time to where I do not wish to be bothered," he explained without further going into detail. He was an Omega. If she didn't pick up on that cue by what he'd said then she really was socially inept. No one had to be sexually active to know what that means for individuals such as himself. He didn't like openly talking about his Heat. Especially not with strangers.

He shook his head, trying to stray further away from that topic and focus on what they should do. "It doesn't matter which direction we go since if we go back the other way there are different rides but more areas for eating as well as on-stage performances. Going in the direction you point, does lead to more rides and scattered areas to eat. There's also a petting zoo area too. I don't know if that would be something of interest to you," Yuuri suggested. It didn't matter which way they went but he was laying the options out so it'd give them an idea of where they could start first and go back to other things later.

Kasane was the champion of awkwardness, the most prominent example was the hand holding, and rather than a shake, she bowed. Somewhere along the way in her life, she was always used to bowing so the offered hand was the equivalent of a thrown monkey wrench. It wasn't a stellar time trying to get a map, it was hell on her nose. It was why she always opted to stay at home. Hell the last field trip prior to graduation, ironically to here, was one she opted out of. The girl took her day to watch out for Naomi and actually write and submit an article about an in-debt analysis of secondary genders and who was more likely to host garage sales. It was an article she wrote for a small neighborhood paper so it didn't really matter if it was 100% accurate or as prominent as reading astrological signs. Small-time freelance journaling was nice, her own hours, her own works, yet it only provided enough income for her to be semi-independent. After she spoke what she needed to, she was surprised that he was indeed partially under the weather but it wasn't a surprise that it was also part cover-up. It amused her what people can think of to get out of things.

Kasane felt a sliver of sympathy for Yuuki but that was barely a worry of hers, she was almost certain it was his mindset of things. What did take her attention was how this was repeatedly done around this time. "I'm pretty sure I know what you're getting at, it's not right to use your own physiology for their dream benefit." She was certain it was because of either a heat or rut where secondary genders were at their most vulnerable. Or, for Kasane, "emotional hell and rage of gods" time. Naomi and some biology classes taught her about it but it was still an odd thing to grasp straws at. He dismissed the topic by honing in on the current task at hand. He gave a much more elaborate answer at what they could do and where they could go. Choices? Please stop, just want to shut my brain off and follow, what do you get to? Kasane put her hand to her chin, closing her eyes as if she was thinking... she wasn't, just mentally sighing. She brought her hand down as she nodded, "We'll go my way first, it's far too early for food and I already get queasy enough breathing this air... I don't want to not want to miss out due to feeling like I'm going to hurl."

It was a simple enough answer and with a hand gesture, she motioned Yuuki to come along with her. "Come on. It's okay, we can eat later."

"I wouldn't even consider what they want a 'dream benefit'. There is no benefit to choosing a mate for someone. There's a lot of cons to that but as usual, they don't seem to get it," Yuuri replied with a shake of his head. He didn't put thought into his grandparents' actions. He was trying to focus on himself and his life. Searching for a mate wasn't a necessity for him. It's not as if the young man was going to ever forget that he was an Omega. Hard to forget that when his body forces him to go through a Heat cycle each month and he hated it. He didn't need to be constantly reminded of that through his grandparents finding people for him to meet and pair with. Yuuri thought of it as creepy and wondered what was wrong with people just falling in love normally with one another.

The concept of "love" seems to escape the brains of those obsessed with the idea of finding a perfect mate and having that perfect family. No family is perfect, just as no one person is perfect. That would be lying to someone to make them believe such a thing. Yet there were those out there that did and Yuuri couldn't help but feel bad for them. He couldn't assume the same could be said for Kasane. It's possible her family really did want her to get out and socialize but he still felt they should've just told her the overall truth instead of painting it as such when it was. That wasn't her fault nor was it his. They can be annoyed with their families as any person would. It shouldn't ruin them as people. Even when his grandparents sometimes make him feel bad for not choosing anyone, Yuuri simply ignores it.

He could only hope that Kasane's family wasn't the same as them. It seemed rather personal to be asking such questions since he was curious as to why her family agreed to the idea of the two of them meeting but didn't tell her the full truth as to what she was meeting him for. That was the strange part, at least in Yuuri's mind it was. He'd felt he'd learn something about her as they explored the amusement park today. She'd motioned for him to follow her which Yuuri simply shrugged, folding up the map and slipping it inside the book he'd been reading earlier to follow along in the direction she wanted to go in.  Anything to keep the thoughts roaming around in his head being the main focus of this venture. "Sure, that's fine. Really not hungry right now anyway," he told her. Yuuri was fine with them getting food later. He wasn't all that enthused about being here so he was going to go with the flow. Doing whatever Kasane wanted mostly.
