Bridget knew Kuri was worried but as long as they made it to the inn, they should be fine. ... They should be. He personally didn't know how long he was going to be able to hold out not succumbing to the effects of his Rut. He was starting to sweat again, swallowing hard as he tried to keep himself and his mind in check. He felt the brunette squeeze his hand tighter as she nodded and they resumed their long walk to the Amestia Inn. The rest of the walk there felt like forever. In Bridget's mind, it did but it's possible that time was shorter than how it felt. By the time they made it, his neck was completely covered in sweat, he was feeling more exhausted now as if he wanted to fall completely over and sleep but the primal instincts of his secondary gender wouldn't allow such. It had him feeling between awake and tired with the strong desire to touch someone. Anyone.

Once inside the inn, they didn't stop, kept moving though he saw Kuri nodding to the person who was manning the front desk who gave him a strange look as if he was the shady one, or maybe it was his Rut making him hallucinate. He wasn't exactly sure about that either. Clearly, he was more than ready to just stop walking and rest for a minute. Finally, they'd reached the second floor where the room Kuri had purchased for him to stay in and use was located. Reaching that room, she'd opened it with the room key and led him inside. Following suit inside the room, his hand had been released so she could turn on the lights which honestly made him squint his eyes. The lights inside the room were a lot brighter compared to the lights downstairs or that could've been from being outside in the dark that his eyes were taking longer to adjust.

However, he was given that moment to stop moving his legs as the brunette began speaking once again but his mind had become clouded and his scent had begun filling up the room almost immediately at the realization of knowing he was someplace safe enough to do it. He couldn't fight it anymore. He couldn't fight himself. While not aggressive, without warning and when Kuri least expected it, he'd suddenly wrapped his arms around her body from behind when her back was turned to him. He buried his face into the crook of her neck as he softly began panting. He hated what was running through his mind right now and had hoped that Kuri wouldn't hate him for it. "I'm ... I'm sorry," he apologized softly as he kept his arms wrapped around her, not aggressively but it was clear he didn't want to let her go right now. However, he didn't want to force her to stay here with him. It wouldn't be right. It was only fair to give her a choice. "You don't have to stay but I ... won't lie I just ... want to feel close to you r-right n-now," he admitted, stammering the last part of what he'd said with his face completely stained red.
